Steve Young really understands what Sanchez is going through.

This playoffs bullshit is completely subjective. Neither QB has made the playoffs for the past three years. You're out of you're mind if you think Sanchez would outplay Romo in a playoff game, H2H (teams not factored in)

QB's don't play head to head.

    they play other teams defenses,.

But your assertion then is that Romo(and by extension Sanchez) is better than both Manning and Brady because Sanchez beat them both, in their stadiums

As far as outplay, that's exactly what their stats say.

Sanchez has outplayed Romo in playoff appearances.

Higher passer rating, more td's, more WINS>

You know what, I'm a massive Jet fan, been so since 1969, season ticket holder since 2000.

I'm happy for the dude, had always been a good soldier for our franchise.

I can't understand the hate for this guy.

He's paying Rex and the Jets nice props right now in the post game interview, which he didn't need to do.

Showing 1000x more class than some of the "fans" here.

    Bottom line tonight is...

Sanchez is clearly a better QB than Geno Smith.

    And that's not even close.

    Thanks Idzik.

Jets fans have a contingent that are largely hysterical (not in the funny ha ha sense either) and extremely aggressive / vocal in staking their positions. Every move the Jets make is a disaster. Disasters compounding upon disasters. First round picks are supposed to be in the prime of their Hall of Fame careers in their rookie campaign. Mistakes are a weakness that require people be fired. Losses are a calamity that require people be fired and potentially executed. Throw in some race baiting and tin foil hat level doom and gloom and we've essentially got the Taliban of football fans sitting in their mothers basements blowing up the message boards making it even less fun to enjoy the good stuff that does happen to the Jets from time to time. Like Rex and Sanchez leading the Jets through 4 playoff wins, including back to back wins against Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. True disaster that was.

You know it's bad when you're yearning for a backup / borderline starter QB.

Sanchez still wouldn't prosper here.. so to say the jets lost out of this deal is crazy... Mark went to a QB friendly system and he's gonna prosper there with it. Not saying he's not good... i think he is.. but that system will make him look better, and i think he's way more fit to run that shit than nick Foles.

That's fine but fuck this notion that it's the fans fault. They still make money on every home game played. They don't give a shit abt fans they do what they want.

Foles is twice the QB as Sanchez. Watched as a fan of both through their college and pro careers.

I'm not blaming the fans for anything. Just pointing out that there's a group of crazies that would have you believe Sanchez is at the top of the all time worst QB ever charts. Simply not true. Haters hate with fire here.

When it comes to blame I only blame one man: Woody Johnson.

    We run a WCO
Chip Kelly's system has a lot of WCO concepts
Eagles OC Pat Shurmur has WCO background coached under Andy Reid like MM
Sanchez ran a WCO in college and put up great numbers

But yeah it wouldn't work out.

Neither do I. Arthur Blank made his fortune on his own so I respect him multitudes more than I do woody but do you think he's any better an NFL owner though? He's not.
