Jarrett was a former second round pick by Philly in 2011. He was released in 2012.

Does anyone know why Philly dumped him after only one year?

You didn't misspell it, his mom did.

Did he throw gang signs on the field?

I just watched Jeanelle C's interview with JJ. Of course he was happy as a lark. A very nice kid. You've gotta like him.

No. Pryor was benched because he hasn't produced. Jarret stepped up huge today. Good move by Rex to get him in there and it paid off.

Good for him, even though it was one week...A career week, and probably helps him get a contract next year with a team.

Thats what this business is like.

Just take a look at Hoyer...Dude over 9 games basically set himself up for a minimum of $15 million a year contract with a team as a starting QB next year.

    whoa.

he played well. But one iNT was a tip and the other was an awful overthrow. Does not make him a ball hawk. I do like the 10 tackles and a sack, though

Dude needs to change his name. Way too confusing to spell. However, if he keeps playing like he did today, more power to him.

Hopefully it doesn't involve him experimenting at CB...

I looked but I couldn't find it on the SNY website. Maybe they'll post it later. The interview was by Jeane Coakley.

His first INT was an extremely athletic play, showed good hands on the play too.

The second INT he actually broke off from the right side of the field to make that play, he read the QB's eyes the whole way. He wasn't supposed to be there but managed to get to the ball by breaking on the ball across field. It was a ballhawking play.

I'm not ready to label him a ballhawk but if he can provide a consistent spark like he did today, that would be an incredible blessing for this team. I don't expect a performance like he had today on a consistent basis, that was a career day for a lot of players. I think if he can make reads like he did on that second INT, if he can be around the ball like he was all day long today, he has a real chance to be a consistent starter for this team.

I believe it was because he had no cover skills and didn't make safety like plays.

I am just saying he is not Ed Reed. He was in the area for both INTs. Something no Jet DB has been doing this year. And he did break to the play on #2. But Ben threw an AWFUL pass. I am happy for turnovers of any kind. But I love the 10 tackles, the sack, and, I believe, he had another QB pressure early in the game.

One game does not a make a player a star , but you can't discount his efforts on the field and not see if he keeps it up.
Pryor is playing out of position, but hasn't been all that stellar . I'm for letting Jarrett stay on the field and see what comes of it.
