http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...etlife-stadium-blog-entry-1.2004498?cid=bitly They may be Jets, but they don’t own the sky. Four days after a plane flew above the team’s practice with a “FIRE JOHN IDZIK” banner, another aircraft circled around MetLife Stadium before Sunday’s game against the Steelers with yet another negative message toward the 1-8 team. This time, the banner said, “JETS REBUILDING SINCE 1969.” Ashley Chalmers, the owner of Jersey Shore Aerial Advertising who flew the plane Sunday, had said he believed he would be flying another plane near the stadium on Sunday. Jets fans have completely turned on the GM in recent weeks: even before the aerial banner of practice on Sunday fans running the website FireJohnIdzik.com raised over $10,000 through crowd funding and say they are putting up three billboards -- one static and two digital and rotating -- near the stadium later this month. @SethWalderNYDN -The Banner said Rebuilding since 1969
The Steelers' fans pack every opposing stadium in the NFL, but of course, this will be treated as if it never happened before
Horrible fans this is so embarrassing. At least we're not the Raiders or Jaguars over the last 10 years. We've had a few down years but we've been mainly relevant. Lets raise $10,000 and riot when year 2 of our rebuild doesn't work out smh.
I don't think you're prepared for the fan ratio you're going to see today. Either that, or you're lying to yourself.
That said if Big Ben throws 6 tds today I may have to donate...jk I never would but I'm nervous for this game that's about to start.
wow again people posting this crap. Look at the product on the field this is the first game you can say you are proud of out of nine. you may be happy loosing badly but most reasonable people are not and see through the sham the gm is throwing out there. Win or loose the gm needs to go
I have attended the last 6 Jets-Steeler games in NY. The Steeler crowd today was no no bigger this year than last year's game. And those Steeler fans really stand out dressed in their garish yellow. There were more empty seats today than earlier games this year.
If Jets fans paid to fly that stupid banner over the game, I hope they've realized that their investment was a big waste of money and that today, they are the biggest losers. Nice work.
