I can already see the "Fire Idzik" banner adorning Big Ben.

Pretty cool, feel bad for Dolphins coaching staff for losing a home game.

So how many of you are going to fly over?

Jets giants will definitely be earlier, when it is still meaningful, because if they put it week 16 again, it has the potential to be meaningless.

I could see it getting put into primetime Sunday night football between week 1-3.

Read somewhere it was week 4 but it's early with no schedule even being close to being released so that might have just been an estimate.

I could see the Jets opening the season in Philly or New England on championship opening night.

If the 8-8 Jets didnt get a SNF game, this trainwreck certainly won't unless they prove it in 2015 to get flexed in, even with Winston or Mariota.

We'll be lucky to get 2 MNF games. I think we'll get a TNF showdown vs Buffalo and maybe 1 MNF game, maybe vs the Giants.

Jets maybe will open at Indy and get thrown to the wolves Week 1. Its all fun prediction stuff though.

If the Jets end up with Harbaugh + rookie QB they would get trusted into primetime games. But for the most part I agree, we will get the typical MNF and TNF game and thats it. MAYBE SNF against the Giants, and depending on who wins the Super Bowl we could end up there to but thats it.

Terrible news, this means the NFL Season begins Thursday September 10th and the Sunday slate of games on the 13th. Why move it back? This past season began on the 4th of September. Week 17 ends Jan 3rd 2016.

Delighted. And we're not going up a home game, either. Jets in London, oh yeah.

Not so terrible. I like the fact that the seson starts after Labor Day weekend. When the league started the seventeen week schedule, it originally started the season on Labor Day weekend, diminishing TV viewership (including me). It also guarantees the Jets a January game.:D

Personally, I think the later start is great news. Hope they do this every year going forward. Anything that eats up more of February is a good move. I'm not a hockey fan, and I won't watch a basketball game at gunpoint, so once the NFL ends I'm dead in the water until baseball season.
