Being reported that the Fins are giving up a divisional home game against us next year to play in London. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolp...ag.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=Twitter I'm happy with this for obvious reasons. Woody did hint at this earlier in the season so not surprised to see the Jets over next year at all, but am for a divisional match-up.
Being a Jets fan from England I really hope this is true. Due to be announced 3pm GMT today. Went to the recent Lions @ Falcons & can say it was a great day.
If this is confirmed I will be buying two tickets as soon as it is humanly possible. I won't be taking anyone with me. The second ticket will just be insurance in case something goes wrong with the first. This would be only the second Jets game I have been able to attend (I saw them play the Chiefs at Arrowhead in 1988).
Smart move by them. The new rule saying you need to host a London game to host the Super Bowl shows how excited teams were to go to London....
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Feel sorry for the Miami fans in Miami who are getting screwed by the NFL for taking away 1 of their 8 home games.
Phins volunteer for this duty. They have a hard time fillin ghteir own stadium, so financially they probably make out better. Two AFC East teams. This sounds like the perfect game to play at 9:30am here!
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...rk-jets-in-london-in-2015-20141106-story.html Dolphins are doing everything they can down here to get a Super Bowl again. This is why they are doing this. After this season they start remodeling the stadium with the changes that the NFL is requiring them to make.
Absolutely buzzing for this. I have been in met life once for the snoopy bowl but to see the jets in London after a 55 min flight from Cork is an unreal buzz. Haven't been thus excited in a long time and it's 11 months away. Never thought a 36 yr old could feel like a 6 yrd old on Xmas morning but this has done it
If any of you retards want to come over and watch Mariota throw 3 picks in the driving rain then I'd be delighted to accommodate you. I wont even charge you for beer.
The rugby world cup in on at the same time. The Saturday night in London England play Australia which is a huge match so accommodation in London will probably be overpriced that weekend.
