As long as we're making GOT comparisons I think Geno has the brain of Hodor...Who am I kidding? Hodor is smarter

I'm still not ready to jump ship on Idzik, but not getting a WR from this draft will be the reason he is eventually fired. It will probably go down as the best WR draft in NFL history and no less than about 15 WRs have already made an impact on their teams THIS year - and this is a position where players really don't fully develop until their 3rd year - you're looking at about 5-10 absolute studs from this draft class - and we drafted Saunders, Evans and Enunwa. Great.

He probably didn't "have a good week of practice"

I give Idzik one thing. He got rid of Jalen instead of keeping him on the team for a couple of years like Hill.

Less room for error when you're a fourth round pick.

Of course he replaced him with TJ Graham, a huge bust for Buffalo.

I guess Harvin was a savvy move but we're looking at a new OC, HC and QB so not sure Harvin has the patience for that.

Harvin may not be here next season. A lot could change... the new GM/HC combo could decide they want to build the team a certain way and not have Harvin in their long term plans. Who knows.

This WR draft is one of the best I've seen in a long time. We couldn't come away with 1, not even one. I saw Mark Sanchez throw a TD to Jordan Matthews and it made me sick

I don't care about Sanchez but you are right about Jordan Matthews- another player they could've used here. It is an embarrassment that these Jets that needed WRs more than anyone by far - swung and missed in the best year for WRs. Just a joke. It was almost hard to screw that up and Idzik managed to still do that.

I remember being drunk and angry on draft night when we ended up with Pryor. A lot of people put me in my place that night and I guess rightfully so, I was just spouting off, ranting, but man just take a fuckin receiver at that spot it's wasn't that hard.

It really does make my blood boil when I think about the shit at WR that fuckin' Idzik drafted. Bryant is going to be another Alshon Jeffrey type stud. Jordan Matthews gets better and more comfortable every game that I watch him. The kid Moncrief on the Colts looks like he's going to be a player. And Idzik drafted some fuckin mighty mouse who didn't even make the team! And Shaq Evans who I watched a lot at UCLA and the guy's a boring, slow possession WR who won't be in the league for long either.

Why would we want him when we had a chance at Jalen Saunders

Why? Because this draft was oozing with WR talent. There are at least a dozen rookie WRs who are already setting their mark in the NFL and Idzik, with the position one of a known need, whiffed on all of them. Meanwhile, all we have is 2 starters (Pryor, Amaro), neither of which look like they will grade out as anything better than "average".

It is a blatant act of negligence in his duties to the franchise to have not rostered the team with at least one talented WR that the 2014 draft class was littered with. If I were the owner of the team, I would have put him on "probation" for this fact alone.

Just saw this on another board. Bryant has 5 TDs which is more than our entire WR core combined.

    Unreal.

Because most of those other teams aren't destitute at WR the way we've been most of the last three years.

A guy like Martavis Bryant is the reason why you don't take an Amari Cooper top three, forgoing a franchise QB.

That pick at the top of round 2 can find you an explosive playmaker.
