Antonio Brown looks like the best receiver in the NFL right now...he's gonna take a massive dump on this defense...but Rex is a great motivator we have a shot to win I think Thoughts?
I can't see us beating this team, especially the way Roethlisberger is playing as of late. If he throws another 6 tds next week I won't be a bit suprised
Not attacking you personally but I think Rex is the great shit head , not the great motivator- so I see no win here.
This is gonna be another embarrassment...blowout, more Steeler fans than Jets fans, hopefully Rex fired after the game when the team is booed off the field by the 500 fans that are left
Big Ben ain't shit. Josh Thomas and Marcus Williams are gonna be all over Antonio Brown. Shit, those are actually our corners? Idk what the record is for TD's in a 3 game span but that one's going down too.
Josh Thomas and Marcus Williams sound like projected 1st round players for the 2023 Draft based on my Madden 2015 scout for the Jets
I wouldn't be surprised if he threw an NFL record 8, I don't think he'll get that mind you....but 6 or 7? yeah I think either of those are pretty likely as hot as the Big Ben and the Steelers are...that wasn't a slouch Ravens Defense...it's not the defense of a couple years ago, but it's not bad either.
looking back I think I said the jets would have 3-4 wins going in to the break...turns out I was being a light sider........
I doubt the Jets will be able to score enough for 6 TD's to even be a possibility. Im thinking more like 4 TD's in a 38-6 romp.
It's not a matter of how much the Jets score that determines how many TD's the Steelers can score. It's a break down of how many turnovers the jets commit, how many 3 and outs or sub 2 minute drives the Jets have, and how many big plays the Steelers get. But the odds of the Steelers getting 6-7 TD's are probably only about 10%, it's not easy to get there but the Jets do allow an average 62.9% completion percent, are ranked dead last in interceptions, Dead last (by 5 TD's from the net contender) in TD passes allowed, and if you use the RAT stat (and I really don't like RAT or QBR but some do so I mention them) they allow the highest RAT to opposing QB's. About the only thing the Jets are good at is limiting the yards per game in the air...but I suspect most of that is due to short fields....well the Jets do rank high on the sack department too (which helps cut down on the yards per game since sack yardage is deducted). with the Jets corners this game just does not line up good at all with Ben being so hot in the passing game right now...the good news is he can't stay that hot forever, the bad news is....well......the Jets are the among the worst pass defenses in the game so he may stay hot for one more week. regardless the Jets go in to the bye week at 1-9 with no playoff hopes.
Is it me or does it seem like the Jets have faced every top QB a little more than usual? I mean they see Brady twice a year...but this year, it's Manning, Rodgers,Rivers, Stafford and next Rothlisberger. I can't remember a stretch like this. It's been brutal.
