Overall the gameplay is better than Brawl but its still not melee. Some of aspects of it I dislike, they got rid of ledge guarding, so if you are hanging from a ledge and an opponent hits the ledge, they grab on and you bounce up. They also got rid of jumping on someones heading and sending them downward. The kill range is MUCH larger to, you have to send your opponent very far out in order to kill them.
A game i was so close to buying for my 3DS XL. But I am going to wait and get the next Pokemon game later this month...I just dont have time for any video games and I only bought 1 game for my 3DS and that was Pokemon X...Need to broaden my horizon and I played Smash bros and it was great on 3DS XL. I recommend getting a 3DS XL, not the regular 3DS...Also, my fear with Smash Bros on 3DS is the potential lag...Which is holding me off. Is there a new Mario Kart game out? I might get that over Smash bros...As I have never been great at it
LOVE Smash. Only really play N64 version. Can probably beat anybody on this message board in it. My friend also has this hacked version of Brawl called Project M that some third party developed to "perfect" the gameplay of brawl and add a bunch of new characters. It is a lot of fun but I'm not much of a fan because not many people even know about it so what's the point of getting good if I'll never come across others who play it.
I bought the new Pokemon, just cant find the time/motivation to play it. Mario Kart for 3DS has been out, its a solid game. Also the new 3DS comes out next year so perhaps hold off....
I bought the new Pokemon (Alpha Sapphire) So far its excellent, but I am taking my time and like you said you need that time and motivation to get through the game and then trade and fight with pokemon. I am definetly going to get Mario Kart , I AM NOT getting Super Smash Bros, as badly as I wanted to...I have been playing the demo and I notice my thumb hurts fairly quickly on the left circle pad twirling it around. I don't like that. So Mario kart 8 came out for Wii but I hear they rotate around the games with consoles so I think it may happen next year or not. Dont know
No new Mario Kart for awhile. They do one per system, both the Wii U and 3DS got their entries and there are no new systems coming so it will be awhile.
Is there any kind of campaign mode? If there is, I havent been able to find it. I used to love fighting up to and beating the master hand.
Yep, disc is key. I can get the disc out quicker than any opponent attack, so basically if my opponents and I both released our attacks at the same time, he is getting hit first.
