The only reason I think Idzik was hired was because he has the same stale personality as Woody Johnson. Idzik can probably talk like a doofus to Woody. Both are business managers handling a football team
You might be right about that being part of it. Seems to me Woody makes football decisions based on some questionable parameters. I have no faith in that guy. I think he's in over his head and actually clueless
If Woody stalls this, consider me done, finished as a fan. If he censors the fans, who paid money to express their opinion and has every right to free speech, then I will not spend another dollar towards this team.
this proves the ignorance of the fan base maybe it's because i'm 19 and haven't suffered as long as most people, but the hate for idzik is illogical and unjustified
If he did, Woody is even more of an idiot than I think he is. First of all, it would likely open him up to a tortious interference lawsuit (and more importantly, the discovery process involved). And second, the NY media would be relentless in attacking Woody and the Jets in the wake of an owner-led attack on the fanbase. Hell, some media organization would probably fund the the tortious interference lawsuit itself, just to have the access to discovery, depositions, interrogatories, etc.
It is very justified. The guy ran this team into the ground with drafts and lack of urgency in free agency.
No owner in the history of sports would sue his fans for exercising their right to free speech. He would have no fans left. He would make an already-ugly situation nuclear… We are giving Woody a chance to do the right thing here… I have no doubt that his team of spinsters and crisis management are hard at work trying to figure out a way to handle this situation - but not one of them has said "let's sue them"
This isn't some random downward spiral the Jets are experiencing. This is a chronic condition with this team. The Jets are continually rebuilding, constantly trying to put the right pieces together and failing miserably every time. It's about time somebody, the fans cried "Uncle" and said "Enough". It's not the first time fans have spoken out to management. Fans sponsored a fly over protesting the Jets coaching back in the early days. More recently fans campaigned to purge a pair of GM's from their commands. In 2012 Miami Dolphins fans hired a plane to fly over the Miami Stadium with a banner reading: Mr. Ross: Save our Dolphins Fire Island. Also in 2012, KC Chiefs fans sponsored a stadium fly over with the message: We Deserve Better. Fire Pioli - Bench Cassel. The Chiefs and Dolphins might not make the Superbowl but, they've sure as heck improved. It's time to light a fire under Woody and show him last place isn't good enough. It's time Woody Johnson put the correct staff together to build a championship team for the New York Jets.

Not a big message board guy.. I infrequently posted on jetsinsider.com as "richmondva_jets" but i think i have like 300 posts in 6 years... I had no account here or on any other Jets forum until we were trying to spread the word about our campaign. JetsInsider is an absolute garbage dump so I placed my last post there tonight and said goodbye. We are focusing our efforts on the social media so I am not going to be here that often - but I just wanted to come back and say thanks.
People that are against this I can't understand why? Then again who really care. I can't wait until the billboard goes up. It not only going to be funny it showing the fans really do care and I hope Woody listens.

By the time you turn 49 and this team still hasn't won shit, that's when you'll "get it"... Your only hope is that unless science takes a quantum leap in extending the human life span, Woody won't be around 30years from now and the team will have a new owner or owners.
