This season has trumped all the others. Better soundtrack, photography, camera shots, even special effects. That tank explosion was great. Rick is one of all time great characters and the direction they went with him really puts it over the top. Yeah, I know Tara's gay. But I want her so bad.... Btw, I'm no so sure about Eugene and Abraham and this whole thing in DC being what they say or think. I don't think Rick is either. Me and Rick got a lot in common That opening scene at the trough was crazy......
This season has brought me back in. Season 3 was so bad I hardly watched season 4. I think I watched the last two episodes of the season. I'm glad they have righted the ship.
Yep this season has been really good. Hell the first episode would have taken a whole season to cover in season's past. I was yelling at the TV for them to slaughter the cannibals...luckily I was given what I wanted haha
Awful episode. Sucked. Bringing in Carol at the end is typical sensationalism to make up for the weak effort. _
I have a feeling that all the events that happened in this episode happened before Gareth attacked the group at the church and before Daryl returned to the church in the ending of last weeks episode, so when Daryl tells whoever is with him to come out it'll be some of the people that got freed from the hospital.
General Hospital and the AMC tell your your Satellite provider to keep us pop ups made for a shitty show tonight.
Bingo. Did I just watch an episode of The Walking Dead? Had Beth and the walkers sporadically get shown, I would have never known it was from The Walking Dead? I am really letdown by the episode. Production wise? Very good, especially the end. But it just seemed so silly overall, I get what they were trying to go for. But it just didn't seem like it should fit the show, and too much kind of happened at once during the long explanations. The first half hour was boring for me and dragged on way too much. I just don't think I am going to like this Beth/(Now) Carol plot together now. Its not just that, it just seemed to drag on way too long for the first half hour. So much happening at once, and a crap ton of new characters just thrown in your face between the two rape victims, Noah, Alive Doctor, impaled doctor, Gorman, bitch officer, and 3rd random officer. I also heard people say Emily Kinney is not a very good actress and I can totally see why after this episode. I don't know if she was suppose to be so blank faced or what not but it just seemed so unnatural to see her act as Beth. I know she's not the best actress on the show but she was so much better in her last episode with Daryl, in this one she just seemed like she was drunk with the awkward long pauses in between most of her dialogues until the very end. I get they tried to build her strength and mental fortitude but it just seemed so unnecessary. That's the best word for this episode and most likely this saga with Beth and Carol, unnecessary.
Might be Noah and Daryl will tell Rick both Carol and Beth are inside there. Carol might have just played dead to get access in there if Daryl/Carol reached Noah and Noah knew the whole "They go for the weaker person of the two" ordeal I.E. Carol according to the common person. Might end up being a rouse done by Carol and Daryl to save Beth.
I honestly don't give a shit to try and figure out this deal. Usually I drift off the sleep trying to figure out what's going on. Don't care. _
Yeah I'm on board with this. Daryl is definitely with Noah and carol is faking it just to get inside. I despise that female officer and I thiught the overall episode SUCKED
And once again, the abject stupidity of the characters that have lived through the apocalypse. 2 weeks ago it was--"Hey, let's ALL go down into the murky water with a dozen walkers and put a shelf up to hold them off instead of picking them off from up here or at best putting HALF the people in the water and leave the other half up here to defend against attacks from above". This week it was "Hey, let's escape down the elevator shaft into the pit filled with walkers rather than walk out the front door because that would be too safe". Reminds me of the Geico commercial--"hey, let's hide behind the chain saws!" "Smart". _
Not a good episode but still better than anything from the past two seasons. I didn't hate it because it was clear that it is meant to set up what is coming and if that is as good as the first couple of episodes I can't wIt to see where they are going with it.
The water scene didn't bother me because it could be merely their comfort and confidence against the zombies after years of fighting them. Makes some sense when in a group, but the two dumb fucks this week? Yeah, didn't make sense.
Gunshots attract more walkers and bullets are a scarcity, that is why they didn't pick them off. That is why I think they went how they did. Elevator was the only way down for them, can't walk out the front door from the 13th floor or whatever floor they were on. I am guessing the staircase was locked/guarded. I don't think the writers thought this one through enough though.
What bugged me also was that Beth had killer aim in the dark cellar too, headshots in the dark and in the yard...she was terrible with the gun before
