What the team should have done (and what I've said for 2 years): NOT draft a QB in a shitty QB year-2013. DO draft a QB in a strong QB year-2014. Should have drafted Teddy or Carr. Idzik fucked up and decided Geno was the answer and bypassed superior players at the most important position in all of sports. What we SHOULD do, given last years fuck up: Draft Marcus Mariota at all costs, even if we need to trade up a few spots for him. You're welcome. _
I'm fine with it too. I'm not the biggest Harvin supporter, but he earned some points from me today. Plus we just signed Kerley long term. At most, we'll draft a WR in round 2. Even that I highly doubt will happen. That said, I am all for going for another WR. When you have offensive talent, it can hide your QB problems, which we seem to have had forever now.
im actually looking wouldnt it be funny if we signed welker. he hasn't been the best won't get that good of money. really dont see the broncoes resigning him because they need juluis, DT etc.
It would be nice to get Jim Harbaugh over to the Jets to coach. Then maybe we can entice Michael Iupati and start to fix the offensive line. Come draft day, get the best player available - if that's Cooper then go get him, if it's Mariota then go get him, offensive lineman or Gregory. So much more work to be done for this team.
