Week after week I have to watch shitty offense and inept quarterback play as has the fans of this team since 1969. Every damn team in the league has had a franchise quarterback since the last tine that the Jets had one. I am sick of watching the asshole New England fans who don't even appreciate Tom Brady get to enjoy their teams play week after week, while we get subjected to watching Geno Smith, and the list goes on and on all the way back to Joe Namath. For thet jamokes who want to keep Idzik, look at the shitty team he put out there. Dont let 8-8 cloud your judgment from last year the point differential was far too unfavorable and the 8 wins were an abberation. No doubt in my mind that one of two things will happen. Jets will either end up with Jameis Winston and he will be awful because the media will bully him and he wont be able to survive here, or they wont be in position to get a QB due to some fluke win or some team trading above the Jets to get Marriota. I just cant wait for this shitty season to be over and I pray that they can find a smart football mind and get a damn good QB in here. End rant.
It has been a long, log time since we have had a good quarterback. If there is one damned thing that has baffled me since the Joe Namath era, is why have we not been able to find a franchise quarterback since then? We have had horrible drafts in this position, stuck with mediocre ones or have had a lions share f old retreads. Makes no sense.

It's not like we haven't had chances at drafting an elite QB. We've just never had the personnel there that can notice the talent and make the pick.
When we draft our franchise QB. That fuck Idzik had his chance last year when he could have taken Teddy or Carr. But he didn't have the balls because it would have been perceived as a failed pick of Geno. He has the chance to get it right this year. He needs to get Mariota at any price. At every price. _

The jets will never draft a top flight QB with Rex "defense first" Ryan our head coach. The first step to this team winning is losing their coach who today said he was "stunned." Grow some balls Woody and get a new coach.
I haven't paid any mind to him, but will from here on out, closely. I'm very wary of Winston, I don't like him. As a sidenote: we got close with Vinny, but for the Achilles in '99 after the '98 afccg. Also, I'll always lament the Farve injury, and what would've happened if we didn't get Sanchez in '09. That was a damn good team Rex got handed to him.
Do you really think Mariotta is the franchise QB that we all want? And No, I don't want Winston.... We need other pieces to be considered "contenders." Even for next season. If you're going to draft Mariotta, you better go out and get a good, free agent QB.
