No Freaking Spread QB's! They all break records in college and suck in pro football. If we go after a QB, get one who knows a pro style offense!

Lol, go watch the dude. He'll excel in any offense.

Or maybe take an inferior player because he's had 2 fucking years of COLLEGE experience against COLLEGE defenses as a 19-20 year old.

Holy shit glad you're not in our FO.

Jstokes: werent you a big time Geno lover when he was drafted?

I wouldn't mind Mariota, but you have to put him in the right system. Clearly the Oregon based system CAN work in the NFL, as Chip Kelly has proven. The next HC and GM need to build the team around its QB if they go th Mariota route.

Anyone who recommends Jameis should be shot. FSU has had a top 3 recruiting class every year for the past 5 years, NFL OL/WR/and backs, and the dude is legitimately learning disabled. You can't draft a QB in todays NFL who reads at a 4th grade level. NFL QB is the most brain intensive position in all of sports

If I where in our front office, we wouldn't need a QB because I would've taken Bridgewater or Carr in round 1 or 2 last year.

Are you fucking kidding me?!?!? I HATED him. I thought he sucked BEFORE the Pinstripe Bowl and that game just cemented his suckatude for me.

Wanted nothing to do with that shitty QB draft class, was looking at the 2014 class since 2012.

    How dare you.

This hurts just to read it.

Was my mantra for the past 2 years. You can look it up in the Draft Forum.

I fucking hate Idzik for passing on Teddy and Carr.

    FFUUUUUCCCCKKKKK.

Having said that, what's done is done and we need to move on. The system does not define Mariota.

He'll pick up a pro set offense and by 2016 we'll have our taller faster version of Aaron Rogers.

yeah so after struggling against Temple this past week, maybe I am a bit worried about drafting him lol.

And I do see what you mean about his mechanics and release...while it's pretty fast, it's EXACTLY what you said it is. 3rd-4th round pick sounds about right.

I'm hoping his game against Stanford is up on Draft Breakdown soon. I had it on, but I was drinking/hanging out with my buddies so I didnt really pay too much attention. I heard some good things, so I'm hoping when I watch I'll be able to hop on the bandwagon. Hopefuly he shows me some of the things that made me not love him as a prospect.

Hey Ducks fans, am in Eugene tomorrow night and a bunch of us are looking for someplace nice to eat.

    Any suggestions?

There is Oregon stuff all over this place. Think I'm going to get my son an Oregon jersey. I've hyped him up enough that he's hoping we get Mariota too, and I do like the hoodies.
