I am a Rex defender, and I here by am giving up. Vick starting AGAIN for ZERO reason is just not what any good coach would do. I don't want to hear about coaching for his job. He HAS to go Simms, or Geno. Unreal.
Exactly, It was a 9-7 team before Rex got here...two years before that it was a playoff team with 10 wins....it had more talent under Mangini and that is saying a lot when you consider the Gholston bust
Because the chances of Geno starting a year, or two down the road are much better than Vick. With Vick you're just wasting time you could be spending on evaluating a younger qb.
It's kind of like how Gruden won that title with the Bucs. When you think about it, Mangini was a good coach. He was just the scapegoat to Favre's injury in '08.

Geno has 0 chance of starting in the future. He is the worst QB in the NFL by far. At least Vick gives this team a better chance to win and looks like a NFL QB out there. Rex is trying to save his job but him being gone is inevitable at this point.
