Do I need to see Fast & Furious 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to get the full impact of this movie? Any character development issues or prior plot nuances that I might not have that will detract from my understanding of this film? _
Yeah to get the full background story on all of the characters. Movies are pretty decent though - watch em when your bored on a rainy day or some shit.
it honestly looks like trash (I do however like the franchise). Ill wait for it to be arrive on NETFLIX or AMAZON.

I thought Tokyo Drift was really good. Its the second best IMO. A decent movie to watch when nothing is on.

Really? Wow I'm surprised. I liked it the least. The ending was great when Dom comes back, but I thought 2 was much funnier and better. Maybe 3 ahead of 4, but I cannot place it any higher.
See now I'm conflicted. I was going to do 6, 5 then 1. Then I was thinking maybe 2, 3 then 5. Then was going to change it up and do 4 then 2 then 3. But now I'm thinking 6 then 1 then 2 then 4. What do you guys think? _
I guess. It introduces the Roman Pearce character who I think is hilarious alongside Paul Walker. So that's why it's elevated for me. And the working with the polcie/but not really/ huge garage scene and what not. I really enjoyed it. I think the start to Toyko Drift is one of the best races in the whole series, the rest is eh to me. I guess I appreciate the tunnels one, 4, for bringing the series on this track but only the ending really gets to Fast and Furious levels. Toyko Drift also had the new main character who I really didn't like, so thats why I have those two the lowest.
Instead of watching the Jets for the next 8 games, start with Fast Furious 1 and watch one in place of the Jets games. Then rewatch your two favorite. That's a great way to spend the next 8 Jets games.
Watch 1 , then do 4, 5, and 6. The others are ok but worth a look. Im excited for this one, the last one was a blast

I caught the film at a special screening last night. Guys the film is so much fun, it is amazing...I don't know how they do it...I think it is the insertion of The Rock starting with the 5th film, but the last 3 movies have been terrific. The 7th film deserves to be seen on screen, this to me officially kicks off the summer movies. SO MUCH great shit in this film, the crowd was eating it. Personally, I also loved how they portrayed Paul Walker in the film. It is truly a perfect sendoff. Can answer any questions you guys may have.
