Agreed. All that matters is how Decker plays on Sundays. Anything with his wife on twitter or all that other noise is irrelevant. Decker is a good player and we should be glad to have him, he also happens to be one of the only players on offense whose done a good job.
Give her a break. Decker's original tweet wasn't an attempt to attack fans but an attempt to be positive. Wife then lashes out when she thinks her husband is being attacked. They're both new to the NY media and likely surprised how negative Jets fans can be.
I love when jets fans attack... we are really a loyal fan base, our team sucks we know it and have no problem exposing them (until a non-jets fan does it). We stick together and make a better unit than the damn team lol.
But was this really an "attack"..I didnt see any vulgar or violence tweets directed at him. All of em were attempting to be funny. Unless Decker is a simpleton he has to know that the fanbase is up in arms right now. It was just the wrong time to tweet something like that out.
It does amaze me sometimes at how out of touch with a fan base players can be. This is just not the time for Decker to make that tweet lol. I mean, what did he expect was going to happen?
Exactly. It's always funny to see people from out of town get properly introduced to NY. This isn't Denver or Minnesota, Decker. Asking people what they love about their team when you are 1-7 is not the brightest idea here
thats what i meant by attack lol not like violently attack (even though we give people a little bit of that too at the metlife.. jet fans are def. undefeated at home in fist fights via reports.. even girls get knocked out).

Doesnt matter. Every interview this dude did when he first got here she was right by his side, for obvious reasons. My initial thought remains the same. Keep the girlfriend/wife/etc away from the job. No one was going on her Twitter badmouthing her or him or even the Jets. Decker should man up.
You may want to add Mo,Richardson, Coples,Harvin,Ivory so on and so on. Who the hell wants to play for the Jets?

Well considering she's a super hot country singer, she probably hasn't had to rely on intelligence even the slightest bit to get where she is. I'm not saying she is dumb necessarily, but lets look at it. #1 She's super smokin hot, and even with little talent that can take you very far. People suck up to you even when the shit that comes out of your mouth is idiotic. #2 As a country singer, her fan base makes up one of the the least intelligent groups of any music genre fans. Attack me if you will, but it's a simple fact. Obviously liking country doesn't immediately equate to being dumb, but the average intelligence of country fans is lower than the average intelligence of most other groups of music fans. With that in mind, it's doubtful she needs to make a lot of intelligent conversation. On top of that, it's twitter. I don't think I need to say more than that.
