How can you be a Jets fan and never really impressed with Mo? He's been the team MVP past two seasons and the heart of our defense. He deserves every dollar he gets in his new deal, cheaper the better but we can't let a top talent like Wilkerson walk under any circumstances.
This can't be. We all know how much the players love Rex and would stick their face in the fan for him (and lest we forget there are several posters here who always remind us of that fact).
These guys are on Holiday...Mo, Coples...the whole lot of them. They are way, way too comfortable. This whole "the closest team" as Rex said, is bullshit. They need a guy to come in and do exactly what Parcells did in '97. Nobody gets gets a ride and everybody's job is on the line. The party's over If Idzik and Woody don't see that we're fucked. This whole line "our players don't want for anything and they have everything they need to succeed" is baloney. They running a fucking Spa over there...gimme a fucking break
If you want to complain about players taking plays off or not having a motor, Mo is not the guy to complain about.
This is a joke. The guy is our best player and plays hard whistle to whistle and they show that? The real question is "which players are playing poorly for the Jets at the moment but have no fear at all of losing their jobs and WHY is that?"
Sheldon has an attitude, too. But both are good players. I'm sure it's hard to motivate construction workers, too when the ceiling is falling in. But you don't quit on plays.

when you lose by 20 pts. at home to a mediocre Bills team it tells me the whole team has quite on rex. lets not throw one player and our best player under the bus on this. it's all on rex at this point. plus, maybe if we paid m. wilk like watts gets and has gotten paid by the Texans he would give all effort. not an excuse but not all stories are the same.
He's an all-pro. And second ranked 3-4 DE in the league just behind J.J. Watt. He is by far the best player on this team and a homegrown talent. People need to chill. At a certain point in that game, everyone gave up.
Its a thread because only Jets take plays off and its all because of Rex Every other player goes 110% all the time and that goes for all sports, especially baseball.
Yet everyone keeps saying how the team is fighting for Rex and haven't given up. Doesn't sound like that to me, and the quote coming from one of Rex's team leaders.
