http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...cker-rips-jets-fans-twitter-article-1.1993177 1-7 and this dope thinks asking fans what they love about the Jets is a good idea? How many clueless athletes (and athletes wives it seems) are out there these days? Seriously its insane. These are guys that share laughs and high fives 5 seconds after humiliating losses while "moron" fans stew about it until well into the following week. Its partly the reason why I refuse to buy team merchandise these days and not interested in attending games either. Winning team or losing team really zero interest. Felt the same way in 2010. It seems to me like hockey players are the only athletes that not only care about the fans but actually care if their team wins or loses.
I'm pretty sure most movie stars and rock stars and TV stars look at the vast majority of fandom as peasants. Not all of them, mind you. It's just the way of the world. _
Agreed. But for some reason I think its better if they keep us in the dark about it. It shows a total lack of caring in my opinion. "Who cares if we're 1-7. We live off the money you fools spend on us"
Absolutely--no reason to put it out there. I think most stars keep their true feelings under wraps. _
The worst part is , is I think they think the fans that responded to them aren't Jet fans. Twitter does seem to be troll central but no doubt the people that responded to that garbage were Jet fans.
I like the one she says "u think he really cares what you haters say he laughing all the way home" what she meant was they are laughing all the way to the bank because Idzik over paid her husband.
Actually the guy's a good player. This debacle isn't his fault. But why did he sign with us anyways? Because he wanted to" play like a Jet" (whatever that means, Francesca would say it means to fumble) or to have a reality show and further his wife's career.
Just accept that you're a peasant. The crowd in the colosseum cared not what Caesar though of them, only that the games continued.
I dont spend my money on the NFL though..unless you count gambling as spending it. I havent bought a jersey since I was a teenager. I have one Jets shirt that I spent $4 on from Target. And since I gave up my season tickets , every game Ive been to besides 1 has been a gift. The ones that are actually wearing green in the stands in 2 weeks against Pittsburgh are the peasants. Cause as much as these guys disappoint us on the field. They disappoint us just as much off the field.
