How much is it? What is it? I just can't wait to start 0-2. Yayyy so excited to have half a team starting the year. Super fair.
I don't see how the Mavs go that far.. I don't see how they are a top 4 team yet either. they gotta prove that... IMO Houston still better if they get the Ariza from last years playoffs. HOUS, Portland, LAC, OKC, SA, ( in no order) will all probably be a higher seed leaving them at 6, playing probably either OKC or LAC 1st round, i don't see them getting by either team.
Dead wrong, Mavs acquired Parson, have Chandler back, Jameer Nelson. They were the team that pushed the Spurs as far as anyone, they have a top 3 head coach. They are deadly, they can derail San Antonio. Houston has gone backwards, Portland is not as good either. Aldridge played out of his mind in the first round, cant expect that to happen again. I think standings wise it will be: San Antonio Los Angeles Dallas Oklahoma City The gap between all these teams will be small, I think all four win 54+ games
Skip also picked Miami to reach the final 4, not buying that at all. That team was one of the worst rosters without Lebron, I think they are about at 35 win team that will get beat up by the West, and win games against the weaker east. He is under this whole notion that the old Wade will be back, Bosh will take a larger role, etc. Oh and Mike Francesa just said Dallas has "no chance" to win the NBA finals at 5:19 p.m. on October 28th (getting this on record right now so I can call him if the Mavs ever did end up winning it, I dont think they will but they have a small chance, not no chance).
Chandler lost it if the knicks last season was a preview of his future... PG's were scoring on him in the paint. I like Jameer Nelson i haven't really watched him ball in a while though trapped in Orlando, Parson is an assassin but we gotta see how these guys gel before we start saying their top 3 in the big boy conference.
ESPN Picks: http://espn.go.com/nba/notebook/_/page/nba1415/2014-15-nba-champion-predictions Warriors winning the finals smh, sure.
I dont think Chandler lost it, I just didnt think he liked the system/somewhat quit. And I dont think calling them a top 4 team in the West is a stretch, Houston did not improve, Portland came out of the gates swinging last season; that will be difficult to replicate. Dallas can take off, this is their best team since the finals. The last three years they were struggling to get free agents, finally they brought guys in. They will be better, they will improve on their 49 win season last year, I believe they can get to 56 wins or so which could be enough for a 2 or 3 seed.
Oh yes, don't count out Wade or the Heat. I don't we'll get that far,but I definitely won't be shocked if we knock off Cleveland or Chiiago before the ECF. They'll make the playoffs, and will definitely win more than 35 games. I'm obviously biased, but I have a feeling Wade is going to remid us for his last stand, that he indeed still has "it."
Portland is young talent their only going to get better with time.. they need some depth though they probably won't go too far. I agree that's dallas best team since the finals i can def give u that. I like watching Dallas play they always put a good fight up win or lose. They still got Monte??
35 might be harsh, who knows. Some times the loss of a guy like Lebron just crushes a team. When he left Cleveland they won like 19 games? Lebrons left the 2013-2014 Heat, if Lebron was leaving after the Mavs final I think they would have done well (not that he could leave though anyway but just hypothetical), but the team he left last year was very awful. I think we will see exactly why Lebron is the MVP of this league, the heart and soul, the Heat will struggle to go on without him. But thats just my opinion, I could be 100% wrong about this, but it starts with Wade playing 65+ games, healthy and strong.
All true, Aldridge is playing for a contract to so I think he will perform at a high level. I think the way the Spurs schooled them has left a sour taste in my mouth.
This spurs and mavs game is really good right now. Even though i can't stand either of these teams they gonna be a force this year.
--Two of the top three players are injury I guaranteed. --Fourth-best player is McRoberts. --Worst PG in the NBA. --Relying on Danny Granger to stay healthy. Their ceiling is certainly 5th seed but their floor is bottom of the East if all goes poorly. Think NYK and LAL of last year.
i dont know who gave Parsons the green light to shoot that buzzer beater like he aint miss every shot all night but one. Especially when he had Dirk matched up with Danny Green.. after dirk hit like 3 straight fade aways! ahhhhh... stupid man..
Damn Lakers... last night was a great sign that i'll be winning my $100 bet that they won't make the playoffs this year.
