That Steeler game should be interesting as it will once again appear more like a Steeler home game than a Jet home game.
As a Mets and Jets fan I hate Francessa, but I have to admit, today he was speaking on behalf of Jet fans everywhere. We deserve more than the absolute load of shit Idzik served to us today. It was out and out insulting, and Fatcessa called him on it. We should all demand more
That's part of what annoys me about guys like him and Lupica. But the fact that they're Giants fans seems disingenuous to me. They never bash their teams like this. The Jets are awful but they make it seem as if they're the worst team in the history of football. I don't want to hear what they have to say about my team. At least guys like Joe who are Jets fans gives them the credit when it's deserved.
If Idzik just came out and said, this is a rebuilding year, we'll be better next year... there'd be much less ire. Lying and saying "everything is great" when things are terrible isn't a good way to go about it.
