That press confrence just made me embarrassed to be a jets fan. Woody has sunk this team to an all new low hiring this clueless asshole. We are truly the #1 joke in the NFL. Thanks Woody. At least I never spent money on a useless/worthless PSL. The Kotite years are back, Idzik/Ryan might take over as the darkest times in the franchise history.

what do you guys want him to say? Geno sucks, and we will look to draft a qb next year or get one through free agency.

The jets see the same thing we see on offense, Geno is terrible, they wanted to bring in Vick to see if he could mentor him without the intention of giving him the starting job so Geno could be the franchise qb.

It did not work, but I bet they won't do what MT did with Sanchez, and sign Geno to a 4 year deal. His days in this league are over after this year.

they are looking for sensational Rex and QB headlines....not answers for the fans.
he gave them nothing, but they will still hang on 1 or 2 words, and invent a headline out of it anyway.

press conferences mid season never really give any true insight.
its just something guys like Francessa and these reporters like to discuss rather than delving into actual football discussion.. lazy journalism really.

I'd argue the opposite. Helming the team through the lowest points of a rebuild, while the fans go crazy and the media looks to cut your throat at every turn, is just about the toughest decision a GM can make.

Idzik doesn't really bother me too much, honestly. His plan was a longer term one from the beginning, and I always knew there was a chance this team wouldn't be able to replicate their 2013 record in close games against a much tougher 2014 schedule.

What do you get out of a Bellicheck press conference? Nothing
What did you expect him to say?
Those expecting him to say anything are the delusional ones.
After the season is over you will get the answers as to what his plan is when you see who is retained, who is fired. He might not even be retained.

And Francesa laughing expecting answers more of the same bullshit from his biased lard ass

While very true why even give a crappy press conference?. NY reporters are the worse because they pin U to the ground but to stand there and make like the team in on schedule as planned is a joke..

Love how he said its too early to evaluate draft choices and completely ignored the 2014 draft class. ummm you CAN evaluate if they aren't on the team!! His 2014 draft sucked, he should just admit it. He seems lost. He's a better capologist than Tanny but that's about it. Dude... its time to get invisi-line's too.... pretty funny having beaver face working for WOODY ; )

While agree with you about the GM helping the team through tough times is not easy, Vick probably would have saved the season if this coach or GM realized Geno was not the answer, we all saw it, he had one decent game for every three bad ones.

Harbaugh replaced smith with kapernick, that was a tough decision to make yet he had the courage to do it.

While they did not win the SB, it turned out to be the right one.

Maybe Geno could have benefited from sitting this year, all I'm saying is that he is done as a QB in the NFL. All decisions have consequences, the ones actively made or the ones not made, the decision to not sit him has proved more costly than if they had.
