I've said it all along...Woody only cares about MONEY and not the TROPHY. He's a pathetic owner who doesn't give a shit about the fans. He inherited his money from selling baby powder. Fucking loser of an owner. Knows absolutely NOTHING about owning a team.
Not going to games you have already purchased PSLS/tickets for is counter productive. Empty seats or seats with opponents colors is meaningless. The money is already inWoody's bank account. The revenue from lost parking or concession sales is an annoyance to Johnson, not a game changer. If he doesn't care about the team or the fans, why would empty seats be an embarrasment to him?
This is an open question to anyone who cares to answer. If woody only cares about the money, why did he allow tanny to push us right up to ans sometimes over the cap every year tanny was here?
Idk. I disagree. Yes, it's true that Woody has made out with PSLs either way and I do think he's an incompetent POS that doesn't care much about winning, but he does care about the business that he owns. An empty stadium or a stadium full of opposing fans is not a good look for his brand- the one thing he has worked hard to create. Season ticket holders selling their spot to opposing fans might send a message and allow them to recoup some of their lost investment. The Jets host Pittsburgh next week. No team travels better than Pittsburgh. Even when the Jets are good there is way too many yellow rag waving shithead steeler fans in attendance. Next week is going to be ugly. Woody has a pissed off fan base, a losing product and a visiting team that travels well. That stadium realistically could have more yellow in it than green. If they lose the next 2 games and Woody sees his giant concrete box full of steeler fans maybe, just maybe he will get the message and make some changes in the bye week.
