I think they are easily better than the walking dead. Game of Thrones is good but I think reading the books slightly ruined the show for me
Good episode and I KNEW it about Bob. No spoilers but a satisfying conclusion. Rick is bad ass again! _
Good episode, some thoughts: -Love me some hardcore Rick some people might think he's going to far or losing what makes him a good person but I love it. -A little curious to see how they handle Glen and Maggie leaving the group and if/when they meet back up -thought it was weird that we didn't see Carol, was she even there? Were other people with them? Morgan? -Looks like more details on Beth's storyline should be in next week's epiosdse, interested to find out more about that
Terrific season so far....probably the best start to any TWD season. Gotta be Morgan with Daryl. Nice to see Michonne reunited with her katana. Excited to see where they go from here.
TAINTED MEAT!!! YOU EATING TAINTED MEAT!! That part was sick. It does raise a good question, what would have become of them in that scenario? (if Rick had not got to them first)
Ok, here's what I think the deal is. Everyone is infected but in a dormant state. If you die, you turn. If you get bitten or you get bled or salivated on in an open wound or in an orifice--or you drink something tainted by a walker (remember Glen in the waterwell when no one could drink the water for fear of infection?) (and didn't the young kid at the prison drink water or something infected by a walker?) the virus sets in motion, you die and then you turn. So conceivably if you eat infected meat--certainly uncooked--the virus is set in motion and you'll die and then turn. Query how well done the meat has to be cooked until the virus is eradicated. Walker Tartare will kill you, Well Done Ass Cheek, who knows. _
I think Daryl is with Morgan...I also was wondering why the show didnt address Gareth getting sick and turning. I am guessing with how they changed it in the show how everyone is infected it may create a dilemma. I think tainted meat should apply, you get sick and you die
Yeah but Morgan was walking by himself and the last we saw of Darryl he sped off in the car with Carol to chase Beth. Darryl doesn't know Morgan and I can't believe he'd allow an armed dude to stand behind him. _
Or it could be a hostage for hostage sort of deal with Carol/Beth taken hostage and someone from that insane asylum going with Daryl, maybe because they got screwed over by Gabriel in the past. Maybe they give back those two for Gabriel. If Daryl is just with Beth, where would Carol have gone? Surely she would not get killed so soon? Why part ways after just meeting with the group?
I'm thinking Beth is all FUBARed and Carol is escorting her back with Darryl and he's paving the way for her to come back into the camp without any drama/histrionics. I don't think it's a hostage deal because Darryl still has his cross-bow. Presumably the hostage takers wouldn't allow him to be armed. He's not with Morgan. _
I would not be shocked if Morgan meets with Abraham and the Bus, maybe outside of a walker overun, I just can't imagine everything goes so smoothly in their trip to DC. Maybe Morgan gets paranoid about a White Bus just strolling on the road and goes after them unexpectedly.
I would feel bad for Beth then, she goes from losing ___boyfriends to losing her family to cutting herself to seeing her dad's beheading. Her sister doesn't give two shits about her, I mean she favors a guy she met 2 years into the post apocalyptic world over her own flesh and blood, and enough to go to the bus with Abraham and Co. I imagine the next 2 episodes will be dedicated to this storyline with next week focusing on Beth, and the week after that its Carol and Daryl's break in to rescue her.
I can't tell if the Beth storylines are going to be told with her just seperate from everyone or as a flashback. If as a flashback it could be her with Darryl but otherwise it's not possible as they are likely going to be going on a mission to find her. Think of it this way: the major villian/mission of this season was resolving the Terminus stuff. This is now resolved. There needs to be some goal for them, some enemy for them to fight. Right now the only one that makes sense is the goal of getting Beth back and the enemy being whoever took her. That and getting to DC but I don't think they would bother having people leave one episode and meet right back up the next, there is going to be time with them apart so that when they come back together it's more meaningful and they'll have something to discuss when they meet back up. My bet is that Carol and Darryl have captured whoever was in that car that previously kidnapped Beth and they are going to interrogate them to find out where they took her and why. Carol has the guy at gunpoint and she is going to bring them both out. This acts to further showing Rick's escalation into doing what needs to be done regardless of what's "right" especially now that Glen, the conscience of the group, has left. Just my guess.
Tyrese probably now serves as the conscience of the group. And I still think The Walkers will serve as the main antagonist to the group, to probably both groups as they should. Especially now with a major liability presumably as apart of the team(Gabriel).
I think Glen's the conscience of the group, it's moral compass. Tyrese has just become a huge pussy. Not sure why the decided to do that to his character. His trepidation about putting Bob down was down right stupid. The dude was turning, a friend. You HAVE to do it without hesitation. _
Agreed 110 percent but I guess Tyrese doesn't want to lose himself, silly as that may sound. He doesn't want to become what Carol became to take away his love(Karen), even if that meant Carol trying her damnest to wipe away the flu from spreading to the group. Its why he could not kill Lizzie or be around. His disappointing bitchface when seeing Rick chose to not let Gareth and Co. go and slaughtered them said it all. Michonne served as a massive role to try and "save" Rick post Govenor and to an extent, she's great at coping with others because of her past but she gets it that there's evil in their world that needs to be taken down, no matter what.
