Oregon is an under 500 team w/o Mariota. They have average, at best, skill players, a shaky o-line and a sub-par defense. He is carrying that team on his back.

While you do make a valid point, and I do somewhat agree, it's a huge red flag why this guy dropped from being the supposed "#1 pick" and dropped to the 2nd round and fucking EJ Manuel got taken before him. And given the chance, Murray, Bortles, Mettenberger, will all be better than Geno. Hell, even Bridgewater will be better... I like Carr better, too... He just has not team, like Bortles..

I felt Bridgewater was the only QB that I felt was better than Geno for sure. Everybody else was a toss up. It's hard to pass on Geno for the uncertainty of the '14 class outside of Teddy. I was not interested in the likes of Johnny Football or Greg McElroy 2.0 (Murray), I was not sold on Bortles once I got a chance to watch him play. Right now guys like Bortles, Teddy etc have been average at best and are experiencing growing pains. Carr has played the best so far. I don't see it either he reminds me of Kaepernick.
