My point is, yes having an elite WR would be fantastic, but the truth is that it's really a luxury if you ask me. Yes, Watkins has played a significant role in the Bills sucess this season, but I can name countless great WRS over the years, who weren't able to overcome inept play at QB, and signficantly contribue to their team. A great QB will make average WRS look good, a below average QB can negatively impact your star WR , see Larry and Andre. There are countless good WRS in this class we can land in round 2. But there are only a handful of solid QBS, and Left Tackles.

I don't think Mariota is bad QB. The kid can play. I think the Jets need players that can play right away and I don't see that with Mariota.
