Who do you guys got as potential fits?

    Any former NFL's ex coaches?
    Any current NFL Coordinators?
    College Coaches?

An offensive-minded coach who has experience evaluating and developing Qbs.

    This is the only answer.

How bout we make Rex the GM and HC. That way we could watch the entire franchise crash and burn in slow motion.

    My top candidate...

OC: Greg Roman of the Niners
    [IMG]

The biggest draw for an interested team when it decides whether or not to hire Roman as a head coach has to be his experience working with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick. Building an efficient offense around two quarterbacks with contrasting skill sets is an accomplishment that can't be taken lightly.
To date, the 41-year-old coach has yet to landing a coaching gig in the NFL. Despite interviewing for a bevy of jobs, he hasn't stuck with a team just yet.
All of that is bound to change. His pedigree as an offensive coordinator, age and experience working with a winning organization is a rare combination that teams will have a hard time passing up next offseason.

Todd Bowles, Pep Hamilton and Adam Gase will be interviewed for head coaching jobs this offseason or the following one. Jack Del Rio, Gary Kubiak and Hue Jackson are possibilities.

I'd be surprised if Dan Quinn didn't enter into the conversation, given the Seattle connection (though they weren't there at the same time). Quinn was also our D-Line coach a few years ago. And all the Niners/Harbaugh gossip means someone will get that rumor started; everyone seems to think he's leaving, but I don't know. I'll also throw in the Colts OC, Pep Hamilton, just because I could see it even though I have no basis for it.

I don't think we're going to get a former coach...And I kind of hope not.

Try to lure Cowher out of retirement. Inquire about Harbaugh. Need a proven winner or a hot assistant from a top team. I'd consider Adam Gase from the Broncos. Try to lure Sumlin or Shaw from college.
