Geno: I did not play up to my ability, I am going to have to play better,

Rex, I liked what I have seen out of Geno, we are going to have to get better and all those kids of stuff.

Mike Vick: I was almost prepared enough, but you know it takes a few weeks to get prepared once you decide you have to prepare better.

I always look forward to the press conferences regardless of a win, or a loss, but IDK about this one.

Rex just said that he thought we had a great week of practice.

He looks like a broken man up there.

Every week Rex says his team was out coached. I agree but the question is why? And why not bench Amaro after he got those two holding penalties. This team is undisciplined. And that includes the coaching staff.

he let them do this to him and he went along with it. If i was coach going into this yr with the holes on this team I would have been screaming from highest building in NYC asking for the gm to spend cash and get some help any help in the form of players here

Rex just said that he believes in Geno and thinks that one day he will be a great QB in this league.

If Rex seriously just said that, he needs to be fired on the spot. After a performance like that, you need not to talk up any player.

According to Rex we have the effort, and we have the talent, and we're "a heck of a lot closer than these scores indicate."

rex is never going to talk down a player to the press, never.
i don't know why anyone would expect him to. for better or for worse he will stand up there and take the arrows, i know it frustrates fans that want their pound of flesh but people need to accept that what he says to the press is probably not what he says in the locker room.
that said, the rex era should end at the bye week at the latest. rex is done the team needs a new set of eyes, new voice and new coaching philosophy.

I am sure he was internally - but you don't do it in public - I am sure he will be gone at the end of the season and will walk into another job with another team - cant wait to see what he manages to achieve without being hamstrung by the talent - maybe he blows it, maybe he doesn't but it will be interesting to see nevertheless

at a certain point you need to call it out. let the papers know the "staff" is unhappy with the front office performance and just sit back and watch the fireworks. It is better then the product they are putting on the field

If he wen't crazy like Edwards or if he ranted that he protested the lack of spending -- I'd have more.
