    I have made time to watch every single Jets game in the past 4 years. I promised myself if they drop to 1-7, I can spare myself.

    The end is nigh.

    Chiefs are going to slaughter us. Offense won't be able to move the ball very well.

    Chiefs will play smart, pretty mistake free football and the Jets won't.

    Jets will be double digit losers again next week.

    We were 5-1 in one score games last year. That was lucky.

    We are 1-5 in one score games this year. Screw the law of averages. :D

    At least all those games we got screwed out of, or just had shitty luck don't matter. At this point it would be worse if we really did win some combo of the Pack, Bears, and Pats games.

    Unfortunately - I am going to this game. Lower level tickets, hotel, airfare -- probably would have been easier to flush the money down the toilet.
    At least when we get our asses kicked I won't care at this point, we will eat some BBQ and see some sights and have a good laugh at the Jets.

    I started to taking my son to one road game a year. Last year was Carolina, but it was so late in the year we were out of it already.
    That is one reason why I decided on Kansas City this year, I figured it wasn't even halfway through the season so the game would still matter - silly me.

    I guess next year I will have to pick a game in September.

    I try to go in September to mid October only...Nicer weather and like you said, we are still in it! even if we are 0-4

    The Jets only hope is for the Royals to win the World Series setting off a massive celebration that spills over into Sunday leading to hungover Kansas City fans and Chiefs players included, and then maybe, just maybe, the Jets can squeak by with a 60 yard game winning FG as time expires, maybe.........

    looking forward to watching Alex Smith destroy the Jets secondary playing smart, mistake free football so I can make more "i told you do" posts about how we should've traded for him - about the only pleasure left this season (which cannot end soon enough).

    Enjoy KC and get a great steak there as well. The people there love their Chiefs and it is a stadium filled with excitement every game. It will still be a good trip to make. Enjoy!
