The season has been lost. They havent given him any reps with the first team all season and we all know Geno sucks. Give this man reps with the first team and stop putting him in after the jets are down 3 tds.
why are they just now starting Vick? because theFO want to know whether there is any point in continuing to invest in their 2nd round pick or write it off probably.

When have we been down by 2 or 3 TD's in multiple games? The only game was SD and he had a chance to do something and played horrible. Nows his chance.

No he's not. He doesn't have the speed he used to. He can't stay healthy. He clearly doesn't know the playbook. Last three years he didn't complete more than 60% of his passes. Last three seasons - 35 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs, 27 interceptions, and 25 fumbles But I'm sure just a little bit of practice will solve problems he's had his entire career and his physical abilities will somehow have increased despite getting older.
To answer the OP, it's one of two reasons ... 1. Idzik insisted Geno must start every game, or 2. Rex is an imbecile. It's one or the other.
They wanted to develop Geno and to get a definitive answer on him going forward. So it made sense to stick with him. Outside of the SD game he wasn't bad enough to be benched. But after the Bills game how can they go back to him? (barring a Vick injury)
Hes been injured is the only thing i'll give you, he didnt even play most of the games last season, he had a bad hamstring injury, He was playing decent before he hurt himself. He was great in 2010 and 2011. He was injured most of 2012 and 2013. I watched his games bro. those stats dont tell the whole story.
Exactly and we know Vick has to be not only rusty,but he has no chemistry at all with wide recievers and the timing is off with them. But thats do to Vick not practicing with them all season.
