The how can you speak out about my when your team is average is pretty silly if you ask me. Had Jetlifelo not said that, I probably would not have reverted to the rings argument. My Final Pick is Clippers over CAVS, and as for your username I don't know what it means.
You're saying the heat is average now? Confused as to what you were trying to say there. I respect the hell out of you sticking with them.
OKC average? Average teams go to the WCF/NBA FINALS 3 out of 4 years all the time right? Average teams are top 2 in their conference 4 years straight right? lmao you're delusional . WE have the two best players in the west period. We run circles around teams in the west all the time.
Is that what he meant? I figured he couldn't have meant okc. That's like calling the patriots average. His sentences were not making sense, so I'll wait for a reply.
No, Westbook is not better than Cp3 and I wouldn't consider a WCF exit and a semi finals exist "Running circles around the West." I should have put quotation marks, but no I don't think OKC is average. However, I brought the rings argument up, because Jetlifelo said, "How can you speak about me team when your team is probably a fifth seed in the East." That's the point I was trying to convey in my first sentence.
in 2010 201? what does that even mean? and your teams rings aint gonna save them this year... so you can keep talking about rings as they suffer in the present day.
Damn it you reply too fast, I just edited the post. I was going to bring Wade's stellar 2010 11 season , to debunk one of your posts, and I guess it was saved. Oh and yeah rings won't save us, but at least I'm able to confidently say that the Heat are one of the most sucessful franchises post MJ era. Regardless, the season starts in five days and questions shall be answered. In June we'll see who's right. Until then I suggest we end this because we're debating in circles now.
come on bro.. be real.. westbrook got hurt in 2013.. we all knew OKC was doomed after that. He was playing a very high level, even mentally that year. He was in a serious zone. IF you watched Westbrook in this years playoffs there's no way you can say he wasn't playing at a higher level than ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL PLAYER in the NBA. CP3 can't guard westbrook and CP3 doesn't attack with a scoring mentality so it's hard to say the other way around. I do know paul had a fluke ass 8 or 9 3pointer game 1 then went MIA for the next 2 games. Only thing that was saving them was 3's from Reddick. THey lost the series get over it. IF i cant say OKC is better than the spurs bc they beat us than same goes for LAC when it comes to OKC.
We're going to agree to disagee on Westbrook vs CP3. I'll take CP3 over him any day of the week, and the advanced stats back up that claim. There's more to basketball than making freak plays, and players such as Chris Paul are exteremly skilled basketball players, who can take over the game when need be. Chris Paul is superior defender, passer, and shooter. Also in the playoffs, Westbrook shot a measely 42% and averaged 3.2 turnovers. Yes he's, great but he's reckless and that's not my cup of tea. Regardless, the Clippers in my opinion are better than the Thunder. Why? Well, because they're a deeper team, and in year two of the DOC Rivers experiment. I have no idea when I stated OKC is inferior to San Antonio just, because they lost a seven game series to them. They just have a better coach, roster, and system. You may think I'm hating on the Thunder, but I'm not. I'm high on the Clippers, and in fact they're my pick to win it all. Here's my top five players in the NBA: LeBron, KD, Dwight Howard, Cp3, and then Westbrook.
Dwight Howard #3? WOW. Besides that, I like your list. I would take him out, and insert Steph Curry. After this year, I expect Anthony Davis to be on the list though.
Respect your opinion on it. I love cp3 myself but idk its a toss up really. Cp3 doesnt win playoff games much he's not the same as he usually is come playoff time. I also bang with that list but i'd take Dwight Howard out and sub in Blake Griffin. That boy is amazing and has went from a dunker to an all around all-star, he can even dribble and pass good. Once he gets that mid-range shot up... he'll be top 3. Howard turned bitch after that finals loss.
CP3 is more pure point guard, Westbrook has different attributes and is more like a two-guard. I think Cp3-Durant would be a better duo than Westbrook-Durant.
I can't see myself not picking the cavs this year. Will they win it all? Who knows? I just can't see them not winning the weak conference though.
D.rose & chicago looked good but no team is realistically that deep as the cavs... Where's stern when you need em!!
NBA Season seriously can't get here soon enough. I'm so anxious to start rooting for a championship contender.
Call me a homer, but I just can't see any match-up besides OKC/Cavs. I'll predict full playoffs later.
Skip Bayless picking Mavs to the WCF, I believe this could happen. Dallas is a top 4 team in the west and has a great head coach. Also Kawhi and Tiago are out tonight, and Kawhi wants a max contract: http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....d-tiago-splitter-to-miss-spurs-season-opener/
