I always enjoyed reading Simmons on espn.com, he doesn't really have any sports insights beyond what an average fan who watches a lot of games would, but he is funny. Since he started up Grantland, it's been kinda weird. He writes much less himself, and most of their other guys aren't very good, in my opinion. The one guy I like reading is Barnwell, maybe I am wrong, but he seems pretty knowledgeable. Especially when you compare it to the "sports articles" in local media.
Well that was a fn letdown. I thought it was real at first, and was interesting. Then i realized i was wasting my time.
It's basically making fun of how overdramatic the media has been about the whole thing. Some good references in there too.
grantland is usually good. their NFL podcast is the best out there bill barnwell and robert mays write good articles and for the NBA zach lowe is really good
