Disgruntled players are usually so happy to get out of their current situation that they will eat corn chowder to get out.
Yea because Braylons DWI was such an issue for us. What happened he got benched for a half. Big woop. Of course you want high character guys but if the teammates like the person and they produce on the field that is all that matters. Braylon wasnt a lockerroom disruption. Everyone fucks up occasionally. As long as it doesnt affect the team Im fine with it.
there have been plenty of players with issues that are fine just an example that comes to mind is cris carter, who had drug and alcohol abuse, but eventually changed his lifestyle. if percy gets into fights with his teammates on the field (players who are dicks too) i honestly don't care
Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but the same people saying the behind scenes stuff have also said Percy is happy to join the Jets and leave Seattle. If you take the fighting and stuff at face value, probably should take this also. He could be upset again by next week, but im happy to have someone of his talent and see if he can have him for multiple years
Of course. It's boring punching the same teammates in the face over and over again. The Jets present Harvin with a whole new set of jaws and eyes.
Can we all not act like we might be excited him smacking a bitch up come on someone...anyone... I know you want to slap somebody
Well it sounded like Harvin asked out and Seattle was nice and granted it. We'll see how he does in the locker room. Maybe Russell Wilson straight faced lied to the media earlier this year when he said Percy harvin is a great player on the field and in the locker room to have. Interesting to see how some players voiced disappointment in harvin leaving. That means some were okay with why he did.
Why would Russell need to lie? A divisive player on a team is just that - divisive. Some people like him, some people hate his guts. Steve Smith Sr. had a history of altercations with teammates including pummeling one in training camp last year. I would have loved to sign him last June.
now with Decker, Harvin, and Kerley at WR and Amaro/Cumberland at TE with Ivory at RB we start to have something here. We will now know by the end of this year if Geno can get it done or not as he will finally have some weapons that will keep the box from being stacked. We will just have to continue improving the OL.
Interesting to see how Harvin will behave if the Jets not going on a winning streak and Geno not throwing him the ball enough.
Reports are he wasnt getting along with Russel Wilson...most dont think Wilson is a dick. Carter was a coke head.
Tell that to Ray Rice's wife. Sorry, but I think its a sorry assed way of doing business when you excuse everything bad in a person's character for the sake of winning a game. So by your logic, anything short of a class A felony and you're good to go? We should have kept Woodson and that other idiot that brought the Bushmaster to the stadium. You punch out your teammate? So what. Punch out your wife? Ya gotta go only because it was caught on film. Smoke weed and stop your car on the highway? Well, we'll forgive you this time.. I wonder if Woody's favorite movie has suddenly become: "The Longest Yard"
Forgot you made this trade in Madden and it didn't work out. Better go fire up franchise mode and see what signing the dream team to huge long term contracts will do for me. Superbowl!!
Actually you're right. I take it back. Harvin is a PERFECT fit for the Jets. Overrated player with a terrible attitude that two teams have already parted ways with
