Kerley Stats would look better if the TWO TDs he made weren't called back because of Jet penalties. In fact the TD he made Thursday would have won the game for us but was called bvack and the Jets settled for a FG.
i liked the way Nelson progressed last year, but he's been MIA this season. not sure if the illness or ankle was affecting him, but he's been a different player this year. almost no impact at all unfortunately. it's too bad, as he seems to be a great guy and teammate.. Good luck David..
Great person, sorry to see him go. Thought he's be much better suited as a #4wr, someone to spell Decker. But I guess Hakim and Graham play specials and he doesn't so the move makes sense. Hopefully he lands elsewhere.
Nelson is a F level talent at best,Harvin is a B to A when healthy.I will help Nelson find a flight out of NY/NJ if I have to
Agreed. Assuming both Decker & Percy return next year, Idzik has to go with somebody cheap or on rookie contract to be the 3rd WR. Just too many holes to spend decent cash in FA to secure WR#3
Agree on the Haiti orphanage story. I signed up for $50/month. But my moms a missionary there and my bro the captain of the USN Comfort medical ship that went there after the earthquake so I have have ulterior motives. David Nelson seemed like a good guy....sorry he had to go.
Kerley leaves - I think Percy plays more in the slot. We will need another receiver that can win on the outside against press coverage. Would be a good idea to look at the rookie receivers via draft or a cheap FA like Denarius Moore - with Percy and Moore you got some real speed on offense.
Good dude but a shell of his former self. It was playing 10 on 11 with him out there. Wish him best of luck.
I can't believe this guy is taller than Stephen Hill. And here I was, complaining that we didn't have a taller WR for redzone plays. Those defending Nelson are foolish. Did you watch any games this season? You didn't witness all them drops? Cmon, he was ghastly and I don't care how he looked last season. I'm not sure how Rex and management thought they could win games with these scrubs (WRs/CBs) on the roster.
