but that's just it. moves could have been done in the offseason which would not have killed our cap next year, nor prevented our ability to sign our own.
i like it, but the season could have been salvaged with moves made earlier.

Geno would do just fine if he had Megatron, Bryant and Julio Jones. Stop it.

This team has done a piss poor job of acquiring good offensive talent to help out Geno (minus Decker).

I'm wondering if it was a matter of the price tag. The timing seems late, but maybe Idzik just bought low

We needed an explosive play maker who can leave opposing defenses in the dust and now we've finally got one.

Guy is electric with the ball in his hands, still young and we only had to give up a conditional 4th.

This guy can torch the hell outta anybody, this was a real good trade.

Will Marty know how to utilize Harvin? He seems to struggle with CJ already. Either way with Harvin the deep ball can return to our offense. Decker, Kerley, and Harvin is a pretty good trio then you throw in Amaro.

With Harvin and Decker for our future, and Amaro emerging, we can focus on CB and O-Line for next year's draft. This year has been a failure but we'll at least see if Geno is the future.

gonna be fun having a guy to throw to behind the line of scrimmage and get 4-7 yards easy, helps the whole offense out

Marty may not be having a good year thus far, but CJ struggles with CJ - not Marty.

The only 2 things people should question about this trade is Harvin's health and if the Jets are going to use him right. He's a tricky player to use. Hopefully MM has something in store.

You have close to no idea what you're talking about. You're going to tell me Geno can't throw a bubble screen? 3 yard slant? That's where Harvin does his damage.

And you know that teams run different offenses correct? The Jets run a west coast offense (look it up, you obviously don't know about it) and the Seahawks run an offense with almost no similarities.

It doesn't destroy the cap..so yes you are right. Feel better? So he's willing to gamble on a guy with guaranteed money, but no money was spent on a corner, or any attempt besides decker to make the roster better. My point is Idzik is awful, I expect this move to work out like so many of his others.

Who is to say Percy Harvin was available over the summer? You can't just tell a team you want their player and then they give them to you.

Geno did some of his damage on bubble screens to Austin back in college. Makes me wonder if that's going to be the use of Harvin for MM.
