The only thing we've improved is our Madden team.

A mid round pick for Harvin? Count me in, we may not have a shot at Amari, but there are plenty of other good to very good Wide Receivers in this draft, who we should be able to pick in round two , especially if we have a high draft pick. With Kerely all but likely leaving this winter, we still, in my opinion, need another Wide Receiver.

Still gotta account for somebody running around in the middle or deep with that kinda speed... at least he can run routes!

Someone is gonna have to tell me how trading for an explosive playmaker when you need a home run hitter on offense is a desperation move. People just need to bitch I guess.

As long as we can get out of this cheap if he doesn't perform the rest of this season and next season then I'm fine with it. A risky move, no doubt.

and we didn't get one here - certainly he hasn't caught 100 passes a year so far (most years not even close to it) and isn't likely to on this team - his avg per catch this year is also half he has managed in the past, as is his yds per game and he already had as many fumbles this year as in the last full year he played (which as 2011!) - sounds like we really scored big here....

    tbh our needs are

    1 more WR
    like 4 CB's (1-2 top tier)
    couple more OLINE
    couple LB's

Positions that are set for the future
QB-Geno (I know most of you wont agree with me here)
    RB- Ivory/Johnson
WR Decker, Harvin, hopefully we can sign one more big name wr or draft one, hopefully resign kerley
TE I like Amaro a lot
DLINE(Mo, Sheldon, Snacks (hope he resigns)
LB- (Harris (resign), Davis, Coples, Babin, PAce, maybe sign one or draft one in mid rounds
CB- We need help here lol
    S- Pryor/Allen

I already knew this before the Harvin trade, but Chris Johnson is getting cut this offseason.

This is also a big test for Geno. We get to see him play with a solid arsenal of weapons.

How the hell does this help the team now?

Woody I am sure demanded a move be made to improve the current situation we are in...Seriously, all of a sudden Idzik makes a move after 7 weeks?

Where the hell were these moves in the first quarter of the season when we had guys like Decker, Nelson, Kerley, and others all dropping like flys and hurt?????

The guy is always hurt. Cant be explosive or a playmaker if you're in street clothes. And you also can't use a playmaker when you have the worst QB in the NFL.

This is nothing more than Idzik being afraid this team is going 3-13 and he will lose his job, so he's trying to get some weapons to try to go 8-8.

    Doubt this will happen.

If Kerley leaves, it's not Kerley's fault that's for sure. I don't know about that. Smells of desperation.

Something seems weird about this pick up still. We'll learn later that he has ebola or something.

I didnt say he did. Im saying those guys arent available. Not many "good guys" in the NFL anymore. If he didnt come with baggage he wouldn't have been available. If he was a top tier WR he wouldn't have been available.

The risk isnt big enough for the Jets not to make this trade.

for everyone saying the WRs are better in the draft how do you know this? Harvin is a proven game changer while these college kids haven't taken a snap. Even if the season is a wash at this point you can at least see what Geno is
