Wonder if he is put immediately on the 53 man roster since I believe he was on prior to the charges and Salas being injured?
Quincy Enunwa cleared of charge Updated: October 15, 2014, 4:32 PM ET By Rich Cimini | ESPN.com New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa, a member of the practice squad, was cleared of a domestic violence charge Wednesday in Florham Park, N.J., municipal court. "Have cock, will suck."
seriously! enuff with nelson already!! with him in and salas out, that's already a downgrade. at least salas can run after the somewhat. nelson is just brutal. enunwa also gives me another reason to keep watching. he has to be better than nelson!! right?
He seems to be a body catcher but he still tracks the ball well. Nonetheless he's a big physical receiver who can break tackles. As others have said, we really have nothing to lose. If he becomes a player we hit the jackpot.
There are some highlights on youtube which has a bunch of plays he makes with his hands. They are some quality highlight plays. He can catch with his hands. Although he is a body catcher, he has hands too.
Yeah I mean really youtube is all I'm going off but he does seem to rather pin the ball against his body. Unlike Stephen Hill though he doesn't solely place his body in position to catch the ball like that as he uses his hands when necessary. He'll most likely end up being another cut but they should at least give some of these guys the benefit of the doubt and a chance before being thrown to the wolves. That's what I never really understood about Saunders and why he wasn't thrown into the offense to be given a chance before thrown on the scrap heap. We have a bottom 5 passing offense in the league there's really no reason to not give these guys a chance over someone like Nelson who can't get separation against even linebackers it seems.
I dont understand why we still trot out Nelson. I just checked his stats...He only has 54 yards on the season. No Touchdowns, 7 receptions, he is awful. I hate to be a downer but David is truly awful. I'd cut him before Quincy, Evans, Saunders, anyone. Its depressing.
Dude was ALOT better last year, i'm kinda shocked at how much he hasn't contributed to the offense. he was a reliable target last year, there was no question as to why we kept him around, but he's not working out at ALL now, he's gone form average to completely ineffective.
Enunwa is raw but there's no reason he should still be on the practice field now, esp with recent Salas injury. However, our WR coaches suck and probably won't get the most out of his talents.
who the hell is chris ewusu? we don't need 'em, its not even like he beat out Enunwa in camp or something, make way for the draft pick.
