1. NOW they're raucous? (read: fairweather fans). 2. Loudest in the league? Never. Not even close: Winnipeg, Nashville, etc. 3. Will be filled just like the glory years? (read: fairweather fans) 4. Rangers went 54 years without a Cup and their fans still filled the building. That alone dispels all of your misplaced chestbeating. That alone spells "game, set and match." More to the point, 'twas you - you - that came into this thread with the 'Rags' reference. You wanted to make a point about the salary cap? All well and good but could you have left it at that? Nope. Ok, not a problem. About their glory years? More like glory holes: I can hear John Sterling now: "....Denny, over to Bobby Ny......back to Bryan ...." jeez, you'd have thought you were listing to the Christopher Street Cruisers. Beat your wife Potvin, beat your wife! "clap, clap" : )
Andrew Gross@AGrossRecord ยท 35m 35 minutes ago All Rangers on ice for today's noon practice. Yes, that includes Michael Kostka.
look, I know it's only 4 games into the season here and as we saw last year the shit start can be overcome.........but while on an individual basis I wasn't to bothered by the off season departures, I'm beginning to get a bad feeling that the guys added together were a big part of the team's success last year and that maybe we can't duplicate that. Pou, Boyle, Stralman,...mainly, not so much Richards. Figures Nash would be on a goal scoring spree during a losing streak........Hank drives me nuts early in the season. Miller continues to be a letdown, Steps injury is hurting us although we still need him to be a No 2 center.....and I do agree about Girardi with some folks here...........he was a weak spot in the playoffs and seemed to be on the decline, and that has carried into this new season somewhat, the D Boyle injury was a killer. All in all between them and the Jets I'm getting real depressed regarding the sports world here...thank god I'm a soccer fan ; )
Two things: 1) I can not believe how many idiots were complaining on Twitter that Ryan Malone was "Wearing CALLY'S #24" Are you kidding me? 2) Can we all just accept that JT Miller really, REALLY sucks?
Delzotto at forward, Hayes > Miller, Miller is not fast, doesn't bodycheck, can't win a faceoff, has a terrible shot and is not a gifted passer...so what is he?
He is the next mega-star who must be played every night until he actually scores a goal. or we can just make him a healthy scratch in the 4th game of the year.
Can't panic yet but this gets old every season, other than Malone, hayes and Nash everybody sucked last night including Sam Rosen and especially Michael Cas-ket- 2 primary assists on Isle goals
that was an appalling and deplorable game last night. looks like the rangers have to be the road dogs they were last year again, home ice is nonexistent. plenty of time to get it together, but they do suck the sweat off a yaks balls right now. some ugly stuff last night. oooooof! hopefully they handle Carolina tomorrow.
on a more positive note, Nash has 6 goals, it usually takes over 30 games for a ranger to have six goals haa haa!!
