Still, its six goals. You can blame the defense if its three or four but you aren't going to win many hockey games when your goalie lets in six in less than two periods. I would only make a trade for a good 7th defenseman if the Rangers plan to stay with the top three pairs for the rest of the season on defense. If they plan on moving Staal, then picking up a LHD would be a good idea, but I think once Boyle's back, we will only be missing a good 7th defenseman.

Kostka makes me long for the days of Stu Bickel. It's amazing how one awful player can completely destroy a game the team was dominating. Oh well. AV's teams are always awful to start the season and the injuries don't make things any prettier.
