Every year I fall for the dam trick... Why oh why can I fall for the same old Jets.

Jameis Winston implicated in an autograph scandal, reportedly signed 340 items for sale.

    Dudes going to get suspended.

Damn. Notre Dame plays them this week. I want him in when we beat them.

Bortles came out of nowhere last year. That's our only hope. a QB rises up the board.

Don't think Mariotta is #1 worthy when it's all said and done judging by scouts early impressions this season.

Bortles has 1 TD and 3 INT in 82 passes the last two weeks

All these QB prospects will be nitpicked to death

Mariota will be a stud in the right offense

I don't necessarily disagree with this but first we need to know who the GM/HC/OC are in April/May when the draft rolls around. We can be implementing an entire new offensive philosophy by then. The scouts working their reports on players could be looking for jobs as well.

If the right offense is spread like Oregon runs then we will need someone with experience coaching not only quarterbacks but that offense. How many guys in the NFL have experience with that?

No. He's bad. Your boy Carr has a better chance, he's a gamer.

    Hire Art Briles
    Draft Marcus Mariota

    Offense automatically improves

Briles coaches up QBs and WRs very well and can mask weaknesses of the O-Line

You have to watch the games. Bortles is not bad. I'd take him in a heartbeat; mind you this is coming from someone who was not a fan of his coming into the draft.

guess I'd take almost anyone over Geno at this point... who would you pick Bortles or Carr?

Bortles is behind a piss poor OLine that allowed TEN sacks to Chad Henne. TEN, 4 to Ryan Kerrigan. To the Washington Redskins.

Joeckel just has not been a steady LT for them from what I have heard and might be moved to RT if they are in the position to draft a fellow A&M tackle, Cedric Ogbuehi.

I don't think Idzik has the guts to take a college coach. And I don't know if Woody will allow Idzik to stick around and hire a coach. What if Idzik gets canned in Year 3, then we have a coach who is here without the GM who hired him, just like now.

I've liked what I've seen from both; it's splitting hairs. I might give Carr the edge right this minute because he is a bit further along but that's not to say Bortles doesn't end up being the better of the 2.

I wasn't high on Bortles, but the Jags completely revamped his lower half mechanics and because of that he looks like a completely new Quarterback. I'd take Carr over him as of today, because he's a more polished passer, but as they both develop over the coming years, I think Bortles will become just as good, if not better than Carr.

The Stanford QB? He's not very good. Saw him stink it up vs Notre Dame just 2 weeks ago. Didn't fair much better vs them last year too.

Him and Hundley I am not big on though Hundley has the excuse of playing behind a hurt/ineffective oline but I still think he has ways to go as a passer.
