Milliner definitely showed some great improvement. But these injuries are bad.

This is what burns my ass. So much draft invested in that position alone and dick to show for it.

We should have never let Revis go in the first place..........

He's the best CB in the NFL according to Dee so, I'm sure our defense will take a step back or two. All that means is, we'll draft defense in the first several rounds and ignore the offense again.

    Wash, rinse, repeat...

I'm sure Dee (Leon) would disagree with your assessment...

We could have kept Revis and still drafted Richardson....who we didn't need anyway b/c we had just drafted TWO DTs. Fucking terrible decision by Idzik from day one this guy was making god awful moves that did nothing to help the franchise.

Funny how Bradwaysux has been missing around here.......guy was pumping up Idzik's genius from the get.

If we could have just got the right deal done in 2010 things would be very different.

Their plan was for Milliner to be their main corner and go with lesser players at the other spot. So for this year they'll have to sign a player probably a guy on a practice squad or an unsigned veteran.I was thinking Champ Bailey but he doesn't have much left in the tank. We're not the only team short at corner. We are actually lucky to get Adams who can at least play the position. As for next year they'll either draft or sign someone plus McDougald is retuning.

NFL network reports it may be a season-ending Achilles injury for Milliner, tests to confirm will be tomorrow. Either way, we have to assume that he's not going to be a reliable corner in the future and move on. At the very least, the guy has had his development set back by a year (or more, when you consider his downtime this past offseason and the rehabbing he'll have to do after injury).

You knew he was injury-prone coming out of Alabama.. There's a reason why he dropped to us in that draft.. And we were suckers for taking him... And this is what we get.. FIRE EVERYBODY!

The guy was limping on stage to receive his JETS jersey.

yes, and thats unfortunate. it means having to find more than one option at corner next year.

The ironic part is his shoulder was the issue going into the draft, and thats not the part of him thats keeping him off the field as we speak.

(unrelated to quoted post) I'm not sure bemoaning JI for an unforeseen injury like this justified in this case. Or is there some kind of correlation between his ankles and shoulders I'm unaware of?

he was a good pick thats not working out. Lets not let hindsight blind us to that.
