All out blitz on 3rd and 6 and leave Kyle Wilson man to man on Welker 10 yards off the line of scrimmage. I love Rex but I have seen enough of these predictable 3rd down calls. Move on now. Fire Idzik too while we are at it for spending nothing to improve our awful pass defense.
Blown out? This was a must win game. You knew it wouldn't be a blow out. The broncos kept us in it and we did nothing in response and it falls on the coach and the GM. Clean house now before we fall to 1-6. Our season is basically already over at this rate. How Rex and Idzik could out this team on the field and expect to contend for a championship is beyond me.
This game is on the offense and special teams. Defense played above my expectations, especially after losing Milliner and putting Philip Adams at corner. and Pryor getting benched
What fucking idiots..how about firing Idzik who has systematically destroyed this team in the two years he has been here? 1 good pick in 19 and the rest are all busts. Trades or lets leave the entire defensive backfield, replaces one receiver and he still has a job? Are you kidding?
I'm so tired of these fire Rex threads,This roster is a joke,Idzik deserves the lions share of the blame for this discrace .Woody should send the message and fire Idzik tommorow
Every CB pressed their man except for Wilson. If you want to be mad at Rex about something, be mad that he continues to trot Wilson out there but not the call.
As much as I think Rex deserves to be fired if it had to be one or the other I'd say Idzik goes first. If you want to build in the draft and establish cap flexibility you have to at least draft competent players. It's easy to cut contracts who someone else structured that will save you money and then not sign other players, and it is another thing to have the long term strategy to understand to not spend the cap foolishly. But you damn well better draft well in the mean time. Drafting Milliner was the red flag on Idzik IMO.
Idzik was a glorified accountant like Tannenbaum. It's because Woody is a cheapskate. Plain and simple
And Kyle Wilson doesn't get any blame for stupidly giving Welker that much of a cushion? If you wanna fire Rex go ahead, he's dead man walking but blaming it on that playcall is silly.
