Hunwick was skating with Moore today, so I think It'll be him. Kostka's first preseason game was as bad of a game as I can remember from a defenseman in the NHL. He got better as the preseason went on, but I can't get the thought of that first game out of my head. It really looked like a guy you would find on the street being asked to join a game with professionals.

Not thrilled with either one, I'd rather see Mcilrath or Allen, Hunwick/Moore will stress the top 4, they'll play 10 minutes

I've learned with this team to never expect a win

You couldn't trade Miller for Staal's equipment bag right now, a career 10 point scorer In 57 games

Talbot starts, Lombardi waived, Glass questionable (back) Hayes or Malone would replace him
    Practice lines

    Kreids-MSL-Nash
    Hags-Brass- Zucc
    Duke-Hayes- Stemp
    Miller-Dom Moore- Fast

I can't believe some people wanted to trade him and keep Stralman. He's a much better player than Stralman, and he also works a lot better with McDonagh on the top pair than Stralman would.

Glass and Fast are going to play, so it should be the same lines as the first game. The only change will be on defense and in net. Klein will move up a pair to play with Staal, Hunwick comes into the lineup in Klein's prior spot, and Talbot comes into the lineup for Hank.

Staal, Klein, Miller, St. Louis, Zuccarello. All were awful from start to finish.

Rangers always seem to play indifferent against Columbus and they play us like we've been blood rivals for decades.

These lines really need to be changed around. It isn't working.

    I suggest....

    Duclair-St. Louis-Nash
    Kreider-Brassard-Zuccarello
    Malone-Miller-Stempniak
    Hagelin-Moore-Fast

A few players are really starting to get on my nerves. Miller has to be out of chances soon. A few more bad games, and I think Hayes replaces him in the lineup and Miller becomes a healthy scratch. Hagelin needs to have a reduced role or he needs to be scratched. He provides no offense. If he was to be scratched from the lineup, would the Rangers really miss him outside of the PK? I'd also give Malone a chance and scratch Glass. Glass had a really bad game.

PLEASE end the MSL center project, he sucks at center. The guy is a hall of fame RW and AV has him at center. These should be the lineups.

    Duclair-Brassard-Nash
    Kreider-Moore-St.Louis
    Haelin-Hayes-Zuccarello
    Malone-Miller-Glass

Or switch Hayes and Miller on the 3rd and 4th line. Moore played top 6 in the playoffs. It wasn't the best but who cares?
Miller sucks dick so far and so has Zuccarello, Hagelin, Brassard, Klein, J Moore, and Talbot. Game 2 or 82, guys need to play a bit better period. Miller has a spot basically handed to him and he looks very bad. The organization has hope for the kid and he isn't making the best of it. Thank god Duclair has looked good so far.

One thing i would love to know is why the fuck Talbot played in the second game of the season. Why? Does AV not realize who Hank is? Hank is the damn team since he has been here and he dragged shit teams to the playoffs. The guy doesn't need a game off, especially the second game of the season. Also, why not give McIlrath a shot? This team needs size on the wings, defense, and up the middle. Can we please see Hayes, McIlrath, and Malone next game? Stop playing St.Louis at center. If we had another center i would send Miller down. This is what happens when a team has center depth.

The Rangers have such a big problem at center. I wonder what Sather will do at the trade deadline. This team needs a center and I don't think the solution for this season is within the organization.

AV overthinking playing Talbot in the 2nd game. Miller is horrible, he played good in 2 preseason games and the 58 regular season games he played he's a total nonfactor, play Hayes and play Malone
