Good idea. Just wish we had another center so MSL can play on the wing where he belongs. It weakens our depth with MSL at center imo
GG..swear to God...have not followed it close enough so had no idea...is this really accurate? Did not know and thanks for the update.
Could understand that..the key is Miller and if he brings anything to the table. Would hate to see a kid with the talent of Duclair wasted by Miller...unless the Miller that the Rangers thought they had coming a few years ago really shows up. Should be interesting.
Yeah, alot to look out for tonight. Duclair, MSL at center against the Blues centers, Boyle's first game as a NYR, is he the PP QB that he used to be? Will Miller prove that he belongs on the team all year? Exciting stuff
agreed...NASH off to a good start..and a great pass from Kreider. Friggin Duclair...this kid...I don't know but that was one of the best first shifts I have seen by a kid Ranger....he just...belongs? Just has that look that this stage is not too big for him at all. What speed. Nice first period so far.
I agree. Solid period. Nash looks like a totally different player out there and Kreider is all over the place. Duclair's first shift was sick. Defense looks pretty good, i like how they are getting sticks in the way. Only thing i don't like is the guys getting open in front. Gotta put some people on their asses but other than that, great period.
3-2 Rangers. Good game. Can't have 2nd periods like that tho, gotta get that straightened out. I'll take it tho, 2 points.
great game...totally agree, its a Ranger thing. The breakdown. Still, something about Nash...the weight loss is so obvious in his game and it looks like he will have hit number 10 by the holidays instead just before the playoffs this year. Amazing how the Rangers had Zucc..then he went back home...and no teams jumped on him and then he returns and look how important the guy is....fighting? Moore had a rough game and the day this team gives up the blind backhand passes in front of the net...things will be much better for them.
@PLeonardNYDN: Vigneault just says Dan Boyle broke his hand and is out four to six weeks Boyle in place of Stralman was already quite a downgrade. Now the defense is a borderline disaster.
I think Nash looked alot like Gaborik used to look. Not too physical but he just showed up in front of the net out of nowhere. I hope he stays in front of the net all seasonl Yeah i hope Zuccarello never fights again, we have Glass for that crap. Zucc needs to be on the ice and the guy he fought had his helmet on. I like his heart but leave the fighting to the 4th liners. We need Zuccs skill on the ice. Moore and Klein both looked pretty bad but i think it's rust. They know what they have to do. I noticed alot of collapsing in front of Hank tonight and they looked slow moving the puck after the 1st period. Don't know if the Blues adjusted but guys need to stay on their feet in the defensive zone. PP looked shitty which will improve imo, Dan Boyle looked old out there but this is why they practice. A 3-2 win over St.Louis in St.Louis is a good thing so i'll take it. Hopfully against Columbus they keep their foot on the gas in the 2nd and 3rd. Columbus is banged up and Johansen held out all camp so i'm expecting a win and i expect Nash to have a good game against his old team.
Brad Richards used to be a legit PP QB, too. Boyle is not the same player he was and he's barely half the player Stralman is at this point. I'm guessing it will be McIlrath since he was the last Dman to go down, but this is not a good situation any way you look at it.
