I read the Broncos are 7 point favorites? How is it that low? Easy money. Go book your bets now! I would probably take Denver -13. That is safe money.
This game itself, last season the Jets did beat a 6-1 New Orleans team in our building. I dont think we win this but I could see this being rather close, like a 27-20 type of game. The Broncos have a wierd scheduling quirk to, they play 5 of their first 7 games at home. Really wierd, this is only their second home game of the season. Im not sure how much we can contain Peyton Manning but the Jets actually did manage to put up a decent fight against Cutler and Stafford (they arent Peytons level obviously). In all essence this is the Jets last stand of the season, so I expect a good effort. If they can completely shut down the turnovers, they can win this game. The Chiefs didnt have a turnover and were right there in that game.....maybe Decker will be motivated? all the talk around Denver is how Sanders has been a complete upgrade which actually is true, Sanders is proving to be better but maybe that will give motivation to Decker. The last time he was on the field with the Broncos was his M.I.A. performance in the Super Bowl.....
With all the scrutiny in the national and local media will the Jets give an inspiring effort or will they fold like metal chairs? We've seen this from other teams but can we do this? I hope so. But I doubt it.
The old Rex takes all of the inspiration in the world and causes the team to come out strong and beat Peyton Manning as hes very good with the us vs them for 1 game. Then the usual hangover happens. Not expecting wins in either though as Rex seems to have been neutered.
