...That scouting and personnel staff were seen arriving with sleeping bags at 9:00 PM last night. And the lights were still on at 5:00 AM. And the entire coaching staff got off the plane and went straight to the training center. And breakfast was brought in at 7:00, no one left. By 10:00 AM low level staffers were seen heading for area airports. By noon the entire coaching staff had been reshuffled with some departures. By 1:00 PM unknown players were working out. By 4:00 five new free agents had been signed. Of a 5:00 PM press conference where Johnson, Idzik and Ryan said they were mad as hell and weren't going to take it anymore.
Yeah, maybe. Even though that's what we would have heard if 25 or 30 other teams performed like the Jets did yesterday.
I get the essence of what you're saying--if this was a well run corporation, these would be the type of responses after such an obvious failure. The Jets organization doesn't work this way. If it did, they would have already provided professional development for Rex in the areas of time management and decision making under stress. There seems to be no 360 feedback process or any particular quality processes informing the system. Idzik looks like the kind of guy who would implement quality management processes, but so far he's got his own issues in evaluating prospective employees, ie, the draft and fa's.
Really? I read Rex took the team to dinner and bowling, then to the Tea Room for Karaoke. Something doesn't jive.
Want to know the sad thing? As I read this....I was praying it was real...that there was that much concern for what happened on Sunday...swear to God...wanted to believe that timeline...RALEBIRD at least could have thrown in there "at 0230, Geno is seen with 1 readmission ticket for Gone Girl" which would have thrown me off the track....well..maybe a bit off track.
