Letterman has a witty dry sense of humor that is generally lost on the gray matter challenged crowd. I wish I'd have seen this one. I'd have laughed my ass off. Maybe even a bit disappointed the entire top 10 wasn't Jets related. I could really a good laugh about now.
Your certainly welcome to your opinion but you shouldn't regard someone who doesn't find Letterman funny as "gray matter challenged". I've been watching Letterman since the 70s. Time has not served him well. And what's so dry & witty about saying the Jets suck as much as a vampire. Its a recycled cliche at best.
The one thing I find annoying about Jets jokes is that there are so many teams that wish they could be even as successful as the Jets (which is sad I know). 1 superbowl and plenty of playoff trips within the past 15 years.

Dumb statement. Not when you're in NY. Take the Raiders, Jags and Bills misery and wrap them all in one. Everything in this city is magnified by 100 compared to many of those other loser teams. This is the nations biggest market. You don't get the grace period here that you get in those smaller markets. That's not a good comparison. What Super Bowl in the last 15 years? Why is it stupid? Im not saying im satisfied. Im saying there has been much worse. And the teams failures this season and the past couple while awful the team is still mid road. Even ask Francessa who you know hates the Jets. He said yesterday that the Jets are mid road since 1998 in terms of success and they just havent been able to get over the hump to being elite which has a lot to do with the QB play. The Raiders havent made the playoffs since what 03? The Bills since 1998? The Jags have been awful since the mid 2000's, same with the Rams. As much as those teams would say oh no I wouldnt want to be the lol Jets sorry man they would have loved every second of 1998, 09, 10 and even midway through 2011. So you are clearly the dumb ass here. I dont know what research you want me to do I can rattle of what happened in specific games in my head. I know that they havent won a title in the last 15 years.

It is pretty awful being a fan of the Jets, though. The team never wins big. The immediate future looks very bleak. Then there are the Giants. The Giants implemented a new offense and the team looked lost in August and for one regular season game. They righted the ship and are winning. Meanwhile, the Jets have a broken offense for the fourth year in a row. The Jets are buffoons compared to the Giants. If you are a Jets fan living in Texas or California or Portugal you likely don't give a shit about the Giants, but if you are in NY or NJ the comparisons to the Giants are around all the time and it adds to the depression factor of being a Jets fan.
