It was very entertaining and mostly on the mark. Can't believe he actually ripped apart Geno. That was the best part.
First Take - Stephen A Smith suspended for saying…: http://youtu.be/6l-P2RdPMM0 For clarification......
Smith and Bayless have no idea what they are talking about. If this was the NBA, I would agree, but it's not. The Jets now get to rollover all of that money into next year. Signing Sanders and Revis would have made the team better, but it wouldn't have made them Super Bowl contenders. It also would have left them with another shitty draft pick. Now the Jets can draft Amari Cooper, sign 2 guards, sign 2 corners, sign a TOP WR (Bryant, Maclin, Crabtree), and still have a shit load of money left over. Idzik is just getting the Jets out of the pattern of constant mediocrity, but in order to do that he had to tank the team 1st.
The thing I hate with SAS types and the media that covers the Jets is that you're never doing enough unless you're olly olly oxen freeing into Free Agency.
Because they have the best QB since Joe Montana and the league changed a bunch of defensive rules so that defensive backs aren't really allowed to play anymore.
Over 70% of that team is something other than a Free Agent splash signing (i.e., UDFA, PS Signing, Waiver, draft pick, or other). That said, I prefer to compare to the team that actually won the SB: http://www.fieldgulls.com/seahawks-analysis/2013/2/27/4036424/the-seahawks-roster-by-nfl-draft-round
By the way, I'm sure glad we stayed away from Desean Jackson. That no good gang hoodlum is doing nothing for that offense against the best defense in the NFL. oh....
Lol.... Last Saturday night I saw a girl standing in the middle of a main road and then on top of the hood of a car non-stop screaming at this guy daring him to hit her.
Crabtree is nowhere near an elite wide receiver but the idea of getting Cooper and Maclin would be nice. No way is Dallas not resigning Dez though. With Revis, Sanders, and a healthy Milliner, this team had a chance for the playoffs. They aren't as bad as they showed in San Diego. Idzik should of gotten at least 2 more players and could still role 10 mill into next year.
If we get Dez or D Thom, then fine - I'm glad we didn't overpay a Tate or Sanders but comon. We gonna end up overpaying for Crabtree or Maclin anyway.
This Jets team has very little in common with the Sea Hawks. It is hard to tell if the Jets were even trying to play the same sport on Sunday.
I can't even watch the video because I know those dumbfucks' opinions are worthless. They have zero knowledge. Stephen A. can be pretty funny though.
It was funny, and watching him dump on Geno Smith had me LMAO. As a fan he said many of the same things I was thinking. Any other team and I would say it was just for TV, but he is a NY native and big fan who is fed up. Aren't we all?
