He said it on Francesas show yesterday, its ashame the HC and the GM cant get along considering how much they have done in the last three seasons. I cant see him going to Michigan but I have heard Miami's name getting thrown around (hopefully not.....). I assume the Browns are still interested in him. Technically Harbaugh is under contract until 2015 so he cant just jump ship (from what I understand, it will have to be some sort of trade with compensation)

Glazer even said that even if the 49ers win the Super Bowl, he will be gone......

Glazer also confirmed the reports that the players are tired of him completely, which im not sure how I feel about tbh. The guys goal is to win and whatever he is doing seems to work, players are getting paid millions and they cant suck it up. (I mean how bad can he get, its not like they are getting yelled at by a marine officer.....and even if they were, you are still getting paid a lot....)

Michigan needs a high profile coach at this point. They've been down for a decade now and they need to rebound with a younger coach who might be there for a decade or more. Harbaugh was a Michigan QB and I am guessing they pull out all the stops to get him back in Ann Arbor.

Only if it's Michigan. Why would he go to college otherwise?

Sounds like the perfect new coach for the Jets. Players hate him and talk to the press about wanting him gone anonymously. Perfect way to follow up a players coach with this fucking disaster of an organization.

It sounds to me like it's Harbaugh that wants to leave the Niners. If they wanted him gone so bad that they wouldn't even keep him if they won the superbowl this year you'd think they'd just fire him. Harbaugh is a good coach. A whiney douche - but a good coach. He certainly knows how to develop a QB.

Woody should be on a plane to see him if he's done with SF after this year. That's what it takes to get an elite coach. But Woody is clueless and has no balls so this will never play out. Just pathetic to have a franchise who doesn't know what it takes to be good.

What exactly would Woody do once he gets to San Fran?

Throw a ton of cash at Harbaugh, which is the worst incentive you can give a guy who doesn't want to coach (or play) for you. The thing about Rex that is great is that he really wants to be here. He's a Jet with the Jets in his blood.

You know why the Bengals patience with Marvin Lewis paid off? Because he went from being a Pittsburgh guy to being a Cincinnati guy and he really wants to be there for life. The Jets don't even have to wait that transformation out with Rex. He really wants to be here for life. He's not going to go looking for a huge contract somewhere else because he wants out of NY or away from the Jets.

Just look at Harbaugh and ask yourself what happens if he succeeds with the Jets. Then he'll go to his lifetime tenure as Michigan's head coach. He's never going to attach here just like he couldn't attach in SF. If he really wanted to be there the friction would not be happening. He's been deep into the playoffs three times in a row now and he still doesn't love the 49ers or SF enough to keep things loose and easy.

With Rex and John Idzik there could be a lot of tension but Rex wants to be here so he does whatever he needs to do to maintain that possibility.

BTW, if Rex gets fired here one of his most likely destinations is SF. Not sure they're going to hire him as HC but he's exactly the kind of player's coach that a team that just let go of a taskmaster hires to get over the top for a season. Fangio will follow Harbaugh wherever he goes.
