How many of these did Belichick get after the league told him he wasn't allowed to video tape the opposing team's practice anymore? He's a fraud ... and Goodell burned the evidence to protect the Patriots' reputation and the integrity of those three Super Bowls.
Wait....I thought Rex has nothing to do with the offense ever since he came here. Isn't that what I've read on TGG 1000 times?
He still went to two superbowls after that and was a couple of inches away from being 5 and 0. How many SBS has Rex appeared in as a HC?
How many QBS has Rex developed? Bill has a HOF QB, because he actually knows a thing or two about the offensive of the ball unlike our coach. And by the way the Pats were not "heavy favorites" in 2012.
I don't. If he was responsible (even partially responsible), you'd have Tom Brady's backups making the playoffs all over the league once they leave the team.
Why? Belichic is a big part of Brady being Brady. You saw what happened the year Matt Cassel had to start?
He's stubborn, I've already given numerous example of head coaches that developed their QBS . I brought up MCcarthy and the "QB school", he held, which focused on making Rodger's release smoother, taught him terminology used in his WCO, and finger dexetiry. And then I brought up Sean Patyon's QB friendly, Gulf Coast offense, that Brees has thrived over the last eight years. But no , posters here think Rodgers and Brees magically became HOF caliber Quarterback . And the last example I used was the brilliant spread offense Billichick learned; he created a masterpiece, and focused on attacking the middle of the field with his two Tight Ends, Hernandez and Gronk. There are also videos of him watching flim and adressing the offensive scheme for the upcoming matchup with Brady every week in his office You'd think after used all of those coaches as examples, people would listen. But guess what? Jet fans are STUBBBORN.
I agree. The tight end attack is very dangerous and it hurts the Pats if they dont have that. Belichick is an excellent coach
Belichick found a system to make Brady into a consistent powerhouse, but that didn't take away from Brady. Because Cassell had a good 2008 with Moss and Welker doesn't and didn't mean that Brady should have been dumped. It was a stroll of a schedule for the entire AFCE, the Dolphins won the division with a crippled Pennington and the WC.
Of course the QB has to have talent, but proper Development is needed for the Quarterbacks talent to florusih. Look at our last starting QB, Mark Sanchez, he had all the talent in the world great arm strength, mobility, and good footwork. But we did not have a coach, who knew how to nurture his talent and help him flourish. Instead, he played a role in ths self destruction of Mark Sanchez. Think about it if a coach publicly states he doesn't give a damn about offense, how the hell do you expect to develop a competent Quarterback?
