Why do we always have an OC that misues our talent?

We suffered through Schittenheimer for years...Sparano was an epic disaster and was fired as quickly as he was hired. And now this Morningwig is more of the same. He makes me wanna break my tv. He runs when we should throw, and vice versa. Brings Vick in to screw up the rhythm. We have a great running game and he insists on airing it out with the worst QB in the league. Its like hes retarded

Offensive coordinators are always among the most unpopular individuals on losing teams in the eyes of the fans (heck, even on a lot of winning teams this is the case). When plays don't work, the play-call always should have been something else to most fans. Just the way it is.

Maybe they'll hire you to be the next OC, then we can all celebrate a flawless offence

Its not a bad idea. If us fans can sit on our asses half drunk and know whats coming and know it's gonna fail, why cant the people getting paid to call plays figure it out

Because not every play works every game. OC's cant win in the eyes of fans ever. I'm pretty sure I read Eagle fans complaining about Chip Kelly's play calling.

    If a play doesnt work= It's the OC's fault

The Jets ran an awesome option play with Kerley a few weeks back. If that play got stopped at the line, its a terrible play call. It happened to go 50, so that makes it a great play.

Success dictates how fans feel about their OC. Playcalling is always the first thing to get blamed.

Name me one OC this fan base liked. One.

It's always the fucking OCs fault in Jetland.

Morningwood has coordinated top 10 offenses with 3 different QBs but he doesn't know what he's doing right? Gimme a break.

Why? Because we can't find the end zone with bums like Geno Smith, David Nelson, Jeff Cumberland and Bryan Winters starting? I think it's fucking impressive that were even getting into the red zone so often.

This guy's play calling is horrendous.. Yea we are finally moving the ball down the field which is wonderful, but the red zone production is atrocious... 1st and Goal on the 5 and this ass hole is passing the football or running QB draws... With the running backs this team has, we need to be running the ball 35-40 times a game. Look how successful we ran the ball that first drive with Ivory on Sunday.... Then we pull him and barely use him the rest of the game... When you run the ball down a team's throat, it demoralizes them.. It also opens everything else for Geno... We do not have a QB that should be throwing 30+ times a game, but this fucking douche is passing the ball most first downs when you have a back that is averaging 5.7 yard a carry... Please explain to me what I am missing.

It's MM scheming the offense down the field. However our red zone troubles are ALL on the players and not MM.

It's not just the Jet fan thing. This is a universal truth of all fan bases.

Bullshit... When you are inside the 10 yard line, and you have Chris Ivory on your team, I don't want to see the ball being thrown..

If I were Geno, I would be Ohmahaing every call that Marty sends in.

I love how fans always say they know what's coming. Yeah, well there's a 50% chance that the team is either going to run or pass, it's not hard to be "right." I know you're sitting there calling the exact play.
